| I put some pics on the photobucket. I will put a couple of more video clips on, but I am way too impatient and that is a slow process. I am a lousy photographer. I really dont deserve a camera.
But i had a great time. My average life expectancy was about 10 seconds. And I have a bunch of welts on my shoulder that look like the little dipper...
That was a great day. Thank you all for the hard work to make the walls, to set em up and to Hortons for arranging it all.

| I am surprised noone else has debriefed yet.
Awesome day! I am really happy that things went that well for our first time. Thanks to everyone for being cooperative with my bossyness when we had 18 players there.
I think me and Buddley were using the same timer for our life. I don't know how many times I got shot in the hands within the first 30seconds of the game. Is anyone actually going to make a decent riot sheild now? They have proven themselves to be extremly effective for sure.
I would love to hear some feedback on how people thought things went interms of special rules and gaming. Not to be to nit picky but just so we don't repeat major mistakes. Bills grenade kills me at least twice and I would recomend them above anything else. Army surplus intown has them.
Agian I had a great time and am really looking forward to playing inside for the next couple of weekends.
Is it just me or is anyone else having problems with the photobucket?

| They are on a maintenance run. Darn, I wanted to see some of Brad's funny photos and videos!
My only debrief is that walls = fun, more walls = even more fun. 100's of walls = too much fun that we will all pop from fun and die.

| It was great till I got shot in the adams apple, from about two feet away. LOL. Seriuosly we should think about lowering the feet per second rules for cqb. My neck was covered, and it still put me on the ground for a few.
Except for the neck thing it was a lot of fun.

| Oh man did I feel bad about that shot. That gun was only shooting 250fps, the range is so close that any shot is just brutal. I would strongly recomend full face masks. Even clear soft springers will do some major hurt at that range. | |

| Do like the SWAT (or so someone told me) guys do and aim for the ground 15-20 feet in front of you. That gives your rifle a slight downward profile.
A center mass shot is much easier to make that a head shot.
Now, show me some pics!!!

| I agree with the fps rule. Horton I thought we were going to lower it after our talk with Kip anyways. And I second the thought about pictures... | |

| A few more pics added... maybe another clip tomorrow. Oh yeah, and the downward aim didn't work out too well for Nick. I thought I was aiming for his vest and shot a but too low. | |

| FPS is not an issue if people gear up correctly. A simple shemaugh, neoprene guard, or full face guard prevents a lot! Too many people wearing nothing but goggles made me a little nervous.
Kit up like Dave or Geoff and you are really set! Chinese took a M203 204 round shell from 3 feet away with no problems.
And speaking of M203's, shame I couldn't find anyone to fill in PG. Those really did spank when I had CO2!

| It was an awesome event! Totally tubular team tactics! Great fun! And it was the first one!! it was a great feel for what works what doesn't work and what might work. Awesome for a trial run!
Only thing about it was the entrance room was connected to the rest of the play area with only 1 opening. Even when we moved walls to make some more cover it still lacked the dynamics of the second room in.
Suggestion: Have the walls branch from the door and have one reach (or provide intermittent but plentiful cover) to the passage to the front of the entrance room.
Just a thought. Well done Dave and Doug for your organizing efforts. And for the help with walls and shopping.

| good sugestions for the walls, are you coming out to this sundays game? If there are fewer players I will give some more control over games and whatnot to others.
We'll have to do a walk through video of both rooms to entice MacGuyver to come down. Thanks for taking the pics and video Buddley, I'll make sure you have a gun in your hand more often.
