BF2 Series

I think that's about when mine went as well. Checked the Xbox live forums and apparently quite a few died when they put out the latest update on Live. Funny how I can have the Xbox and play offline for several hours pretty much every day for almost 3 years with zero problems and then sign up for Xbox live and have it RR in a month. Sounds kind of suspicious to me. I might just sneak in under the 3 year RROD replacement warranty, but we'll see. I went through the online customer service and was sent an email with a UPS shipping label. Hopefully it goes smoothly once I find a dropoff for UPS parcels up here. F'ing MS, I wish I'd waited for the PS3 now!

Forget the PS3, get ARMA 2 for PC. There are some impressive videos on Youtube about it. One of the videos even demonstrated the capability of having over 1500 AI in one game. I was planning on upgrading my computer for it, it turns out I would have to sell this one and buy a new one.

The only thing that sours my taste to this game is the robot like vocals when on the radio.

I'm not going to replace all my games so there's no point in switching until the next generation of consoles comes out.

ARMA 2 looks good but it sounds like it barely runs even on high end machines.

Ok, watched the vids, the graphics quality seem really poor. COD's graphics still leave me in awe, but my only complaint about cod4 is the audio, in BF series, if a gunshot is close, your hear it loud and the further it is away the quieter it is, makes hunting snipers fun. Same with ppl talking or running the distance effect with the sound make the gameplay more real. Plus BF has vehicles. Maybee i'm missing something with the new game but I didn't see anything impressive. sorry.
