NEWS TODAY
I called to get them the money for the 22nd and they are jerking us around again. The lady we deal with is quiting and they are not rehiring so the owners are doing the management. The owners sound pretty useless, they are the ones who said they called me and tried to leave messages at my house when the kinsmen number did not show up once on my call display neither was there one message....useless.

The owners are making claims like embedded BBs in the walls and some other garbage so they want us out. I am not going to take it and am going to ask for proof etc and I would way rather work something out then get mad and burn bridges. The game is go either way, if they kick us out for this friday we'll play at predator as the snow is not as deep. I'll keep you all posted.

I keep calling...she keeps ignoring me. As far as I am concerned we CQC at the kinsmen as this is far to short of notice...this may be our last one for a bit.

I guess we'll be looking for a new CQC building after tomorrow. Unfortunately.

It may be a stretch, but Pinewood School has rented their gym out before for events before. Small chance they might be ok with Airsoft but it could be worth a shot. One thing about the gym is it's brick/concrete most the way up the walls.

Someone had mentioned the Roller dome before not sure if you've went down that road before.

Hopefully we can come up with something.

Ok here is the deal...

the lady we have been dealing with before has quite or been let go, depends on who you talk to but you can usually go with the worse option in these cases. Communication has been nothing but imaginary phone messages left at my house...

I talked to the guy who was painting the gym when our last game was canceled. The reason they are not allowing us back in is that he found the thousands of little dents in their dry wall and plywood. He sounded unimpressed but I mentioned that these had been there all year as we played there last year as well and he simply said "we didn't realize the damage until we painted."

I did tell him that I was more than unimpressed about our last forced cancellation 3 days before the rental saying if I can make the effort to book in December for a Jan game, they can make the effort to play ahead as well. He apologized for this which makes me feel a micron better.

Either way he is the owner and he has every right to deny service and I would rather not be a total knob and demand that we ruin his paint job by letting us play. I asked for 3 weeks to get the walls out which gives us sometime to find a new place.

My thoughts are...MAKE CONTACT WITH WHOEVER YOU CAN ABOUT PLAYING IN THEIR SPACE. If they want to talk more send them to me and I can do the rest/let them know what our expectations are and what they can expect from us. I will contact the roller dome tomorrow and see about playing in the lower glassed off areas first then ask about using the boxing gym again. With the amount of walls we have it could be a totally filled space now.

Another lead I might have is a church that has a gym and is looking to do airsoft on their own for an event. This space would be small but right now I'll take whatever we can get.

In conclusion we have no CQC but our walls are safe and indoors right now. The women at the kinsmen are awful to deal with and this Lawrence fella seems down to earth. I am frustrated but dwelling will do us no good, let's see if we can pull our poop in a group and keep being the only CQC north of Mission...

In other news...I called the roller dome 5 mins ago and this is what he said.

Fine with us playing in the smaller side (concrete not wood floor), we are in charge of clean-up, space to store the walls etc. The area is surrounded by glass so it should be amazing for viewing games and having a goggles off area.

The catch is it costs a bit more.

$130 would get us 7pm-11pm tomorrow night. Not long but I could probably convince him that our clean-up time after would be off the clock and set-up might be. This is all very last minute but would get us playing indoors for the rest of the season. Our price would go up from $10 a bit to counter these costs.

Thoughts? I need a lot of yeses to make this happen.

I'm game for it, it's better then nothing. That'd be 3 yesses from me, Phat Chocobo, and Recon Kid. And a still possible 4th from my cousin.

I'm 100% ok with it. Anything is better than dealing with the BS the Kinsmen has dealt out.

if it's a go than yes. I have all day off tomorrow. I can help set up and takedown. Our jetta has room to transport walls though. Sorry.

I just got off the phone with Al at the roller dome...I love Al....Al makes things easy...for now....

We start tonight at 7:30 and end at 11:30. We have clean-up time after 11:30 but that's what we get. For moving walls we can come a bit earlier and start moving them in. Bill I will call you right now.

I got a truck for tonight, i think it's a lil smaller than gryph's truck but its my dads red truck (if you remember seein that during the summer games)

I'm also bringing Phat C and Lucuis. So there will be three of us + you.
