Gun Weight Issue Empty
PostSubject: Gun Weight Issue   Gun Weight Issue EmptyMon 17 Jul 2006, 4:08 pm

My gun weighs too much...

Gun Weight Issue Weight

Still to upgrade:
650 mm 6.03 inner barrel (Coming in RedWolf order soon)
Scope Raisers (Coming in RedWolf order soon)
AR-15 Metal body (ouchy $)
One peice inner barrel (need metal body for this)

I have troubles triggering the M203 because I can't hold the weight of the gun in one hand easily. Any suggestions?

-Doug

(Oh yeah, I pulled a Frag on these, got both the ACOG and M203 for $150 from ASC junk. Normally that would be $320 and $380 from 007)

1.20m bipod with wheels ....2 horses

nice gun Shocked I want to have a look at this 203 and this ACOG ! is it a x4 power?

Your missing a BUIS here and I think your ACOG is mounted too far back.
Your also missing a leaf sight for the 203 ($$$)

Do you use the silencer to hide a long barrel ? If no, remove it ! Better balance and realism

only bad thing on your gun is this uggly mag ! lol!

How about a three point tac sling? You can adjust it so when you shoulder it, it'll pretty much hang there. Got one on both my G36's.

Yeah, the G&P ACOG kicks arse. It is 4x zoom WITH iron sights on top, no need for BUIS. It can also be un-railed and put on an M16A2 handle and it has a hole that allows the use of the M16 iron sights, for a total of 3 sights!

Yeah, the ACOG is mounted far back because I have to stick my eye right up next to it to see in it... kinda awkward. Any suggestions?

Yeppers, the silencer will be holding that 650mm inner barrel.

Also, is there any recommended brands of 3 point tac slings or does any old one work (ie, build my own)?

I'm running a Milforce on one and a Dropzone on the other. The Dropzone has more features, only costs $20, but is only an inch wide, same as the Milforce. Once I'm wearing my gear, I don't notice the weight so much.

Sun Project M203 and shells... yeah... shells... Like I said, I got it from ASC as snipe steals. The ACOG for $10 and about 2 hours of repairs, good as new, the M203 for $100 and about 30 minutes of repairs. That ACOG is an amazing scope, you can almost use it both eyes open as a reflex scope, kind of weird vision with one eye at 4x but I am enjoying immensely.

Ya caught me Horton, I need to get some shells in... I am probably going to do yet another Redwold order to get some in. I haven't had any luck on ASC finding any.

For the sling, I've one you can try to copy but I'm not sure it will help

Yeah, previous owner took it apart to paint and couldn't get it back together again. I am assuming that out of frustration he pawn it off for so cheap. When I read this thread I couldn't believe my eyes, even "busted", $10 was a steal.

http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=17796&page=1&pp=15

When I got it in, the lens and prism were finger printed to death and the adjustment springs weren't in (that is the broken part). After stripping it down, cleaning everything carefully, I reassembled it with the adjustment springs in it (took about 20 minutes just to figure out how the springs sat). Whammo, nice ACOG, fully working.

This ACOG is very solidly built but I wonder about how well it would do with real steel recoil... Only one way to find out Razz

The reticle looks similar to this:

Doug that's sick, once you finally get your medal body, I'll take your SR-16 off of you, but I'm now fearing you more than ever...
