polar bear dip Jan 1st 2007

Hey all anyone want to go to the poler dip at ness lake with me? or are you guys just wimps?

Where were you? I ran the thing and didn't see you. CTV, the Citizen, Free press and some random paper showed up. 2 radio stations gave us press and someone put posters all over town. Over 40 dippers went in with all sorts of cotumes. We must have raised over $3000 to send kids to camp which garuntees me some work.

Check the papers tomorow and let me know if you see any other coverage.

Gerren in his brand spanking new rescue dry suit was there to help me out of the water. Maybe next year we'll all go in with our full gear on.

Ya sorry i was up till 4am drumming so ya. next year we should go in full camo. Was it cold this year?

It was brief pictures on the 6 o'clock CTV news last night, and there were quite a few more in the Citizen. With Dave on the front page! Then more pictures in the community extra section. They mention me in the article!! I'm famous too now Dave
