There are some pretty impressive things in this review. Looks like SRC has stepped up their quality and finishing work.

Yeah, was reading that last night. Buyairsoft.ca and the TSD/SRC stuff... They jumped the price up to $400, I swear it was cheaper before they started feeding that TSD bullshoot. Still, the mechbox does not look bad and the body is TM plastic'ish. Still when it comes down to it, everyone who has had a CAG36 knows that the glassfibre body is better than the TM plastic bodies. Hopefully CA or someone more established comes out with an XM8. Yeah, the SRC one is TM quality'ish, but if you are serious about your guns, you get the metal/fibre bodies over TM plastic anyways...

Has anyone seen any articles on the Jing Jong stuff from buyairsoft.ca ? They claim TM compatability and for their price ($250 less than TM) it might be worth looking at.

I agree Dave, it also opens up Airsoft to new players on a bit more of a $ friendly basis. Jing Jong is known as the TM clone in China, with a few reviews claiming that they are not bad (of course coming from US where most guns are cheap clones).

I think it is usually you get what you pay for. If you are over 18, you usually can afford the $500+ Full Metal gun instead of the clone gun. But for what it is worth Jing Gong, does not look bad for a starter gun.

http://uaaph.com/

has the reviews for G36, M16, and AUG.

I was considering trying out the Dragunov, but I'm kind of nervous about the cheap guns after my SRC M4 and UTG MP5. If they can guarantee 100% TM compatibility then I'd pick one up and get Dave to throw some quality internals into it. Smile

That dragunov looks pretty plastic. I am finding that I rather get a better body over internals now. One can always upgrade the internals for cheap over the body for lots.

Mind you, for $280, nothing like fibreglassing the furniture and painting matte black won't fix Razz
