Vermillion sucks

Man it sucks here there is nothing to do around here out side of class, except drink. You can walk from one end of town to the other in five to ten minutes depending on how fast you walk, and you'll pass at least three bars no matter what way you take. Hell there's even a bar on campus! worst part is it's right by the res. so you get to listen to large groups of drunks trying to get home at 2 in the morning. There is nothing to do in town, except go to the one screen Theater that's the size of a small gass station, joy.
The college is diveded into three groups the farmers, the trades, and the fire fighters. The farmers hate the fire fighters cause we're to serious and stuck up because we don't go out drinking at least six nights out of the weak. We get pissed off with the farmers because there parting and being as noisy as posible until 3 in the morning while we're trying to sleep so we can get up by at least six in the morning. The men hate us because the women love us and our uniforms, and half the women have STD's. We have to be careful as hell when we do go out because the dairy farmers (yes there's a class for dairy farmers here) want to prove how strong they are by trying to beat up a Fire Fighter, or we have girls coming and throwing them selfs at us. The girls throwing them selfs at us wouldn't be a bad thing except that they'll try and sleap with anything that moves and as I stated before about have of them have diseases. Aparently Lake Land College (that's the College here in Vermillion) has the highest STD rate for all of the colleges in Canada.
If you don't boil the water or run it through a good felter before drinking it you'll get the runs. Even when you boil it you have to mix it with something because it tastes like crap.
The only good thing is that during the weak we're to buisy with class to think about anything other then fire fighting.

I am glad that you are wise enough to acknowledge the risks of STD's and constant partying.

I can't wait to get back. I have to admit I might be partying a little more if I had the time, but I don't. We have about 1 1/2" to 2" of material that we have to get through per week, and we usualy do that in about two days because we also have practicals we have to do. On the weekends there's nothing to do. we try to study but we usualy only get in a couple of hours because we burned out from all of the book work we do in class. To add on to this problem I'm going through withdrawl from airsoft. We aren't even allowed toy guns. One of the guys in the dorm next to mine bought a clear plastic springer, I wanted to ask him if I could shoot it except I could get kick out for simply touching it.

is there a range you can get out to? Some real steel shooting might get the gitters out of you...who is really going to miss a farmer anyway...JOKING JOKING

Man I want to shoot some of these idiots. It's just about three in the morning and their still keeping me up with all of the noise. There's a shooting range in Edmonton but thats a two hour drive and I don't have any wheels.

You have no idea. I've been shooting for as long as I can remember. I'm going to have a hay day when I get back. I'll probably go through a couple of boxes of ammo.
