As I'm new, haven't had a chance to play any matches with you guys yet, I don't know what kinda equipment (other than the guns Smile) you use. Now, looking on the airsoft Canada site, I see some teams like to use radios. If anyone is interested, and for educations sake, I'll throw in the phoenetic alphabet for use in matches, or wherever. (NOTE)These are used by Military land forces and the RCMP. Very Happy

I was introduced to the code through my mother, who flew and learned it for the flight radio. I always use it for on the phone when I am stating my postal code. This is a widely used code that is invaluable for clarifying what you are saying, especially when reading map sectors (A1, G12, etc).

Thanks for the informative post Yuurei and hope to see you at a game sometime. And yeah, some people got some radios for Christmas so they should be in use this spring...

I have 2 radios for use. Multiple channel & SUB channels, 8 kilometer range on flat land, tho I'm probably right in guessing our combat zone isn't that big...

I learned the phonetic alphabet from my training at HMCS Quadra, in order to pass our course, we had to pass a naval communicator test. Oh, and I have 2 walkie talkies, is that what you consider radios?
