| I'm sure we would have little problem finding these. If were to make the effort to do this it would have to be close enough to town that we could use it year round. | |

| There are a ton of flats all over town. Tons down by the rail tracks indutrial area, tons behind Canadian Tire and Home Depot, and massive amounts out in the industrial area on the highway to Van. They are mostly discarded, some in bad shape some good, all can be broken apart and salvaged.
There is an abundant supply, the problem is transportation for getting them. Anyone with a truck?

| Cough cough, Jeff's little truck is also great. Just need a centrailized area to drop them and then do a large move. The biggest jack pot are the broken ones behind home depot, there are good ones there too but they might take exception to use taking those ones. Anyone have any connection to HD?

| If someone was willing to help me move them *cough cough*, Jeffs little truck would be available to transport these things. Just give me a date and time you can meet and we can contribute to club 'materials aquisition'. | |

| *Cough cough*, I am sure that we can all cough up a little gas money for this excursion of acquisition. Any suggestions on where to store them, or when to get them, and where to put them? It would be nice to rework them into movable L-brackets or something.

| To be the most effective, I would think that a lot of prep work would have to be done prior to moving. I was able to only put a few in the back of my dad's Silverado. You'd have to take some of the pallets apart, at wherever your getting them from, to be able to get lots in a truck. We'd be able to make some amazing stuff if we were willing to put in lots of time... time to get the hammer and pry bars out! | |

| Weird, those photo links are finicky.
Well, apparently behind Winners there are tons of available ones that we are welcomed to help ourselves to. Apparently Buddley may have access to some 6x6 gas/oilfield flats.
Now, I must admit that portable is best. Having no year round field to set these up on creates a bit of a dilemma. There are a few ideas floating around like the abandoned airport, or that uncle guys place. Any suggestions?
