April 29th 2007-MILSIM

What a Blast out there today, i think i like the milsim style of game way more than run and gun. The acting and different style of confrontation made this trip more than worth while for me at least

And a quick thanks to FRAG for putting his thoughts and ideas to work for all of us on this. Great time and will come again. sure did get us all thinking of ideas for the next one

Thanks, this game was awsome!! At one point I thought that I was going to cry from all the good acting! Frag, if we could get a copy of all the vids and pics? That would be awsome!! Im all ready looking forward to the next game!!

I am extremely glad that you all enjoyed yourselves. Many of us have been pushing for this style of gameplay and I am very happy that much of it went off without a hitch! Good times for all.

What a total blast I had at the milsim. I went out with Zeus and Soul to check the field and it should be ready in the next 2-3 weeks. Can't wait to see you all this summer.

Thanks for all the fun had a realy good time and hope you guys will come down when we get things set up. Looking forward to the next time we meet.

Lots of running, lots of tension - Mercs, congrats on our capture, that was an interesting tactic. Milita, congrats on being the biggest pain in our butts with regard to security, and military, congrats on providing a distraction so we could get our VIP to safety. Next time, I'm NOT going with the team in charge of policing a wartorn country! Awesome game everyone and good playing with you all!

thanks for all the info, great to read up on what everyone was up to.

I had a great time on the mil team. True it was difficult but before we realized that our mission was not going to be completed in time, we were able to extract a flag without detection in mid-ground and get some hostages.

Having spent a fair chunk of cash gearing for the game, I would hope that we would have scored a few points for dressing as Militray though. ACU may have failed for the area, but we did try to look the part.

Overall I had an amazing time, as has been said by all. I look forward to more Sim games in the future.

yep but I can't give you a medal for completing 1/10th of one of your mission. Even the US Army isn't that generous

Great game Frag. Thank you for your efforts. I will look at peace keepers and police in a whole new light now...that's a tough job.
My only regret is having to go home at 4:30.
OK one more regret...that the safety was on when I went for Zeus' (?) gun. Just one burst would have made my early and tragic and much mourned death worthwhile.

The few...the proud. We gave you guys a heck of a time Brad. Was is fun or just frustrating dealing with everyone?

Great fun. Tons of exercise, man... I'm in bad shape! My only regret is getting KIA in a firefight resulting in my entire team being wiped out.

Must remember that a single tree doesn't provide adequate cover from a flanking enemy.


Query- Who was the SF guy the military team was supposed to meet up with?

I was never frustrated. Actually I spent the entire day in a state of semi-elation. While I never forgot that it all was a game, there were several moments where the stress was impressive. I can only imagine how it would feel with real steel...terrifying.

It was great to be on a team with a Killswitch and a Jackboot and led by a very sharp Yurri. Thanks guys.
