| Hello everyone! My name is Shemagh, and I just recently have gotten into Airsoft after being a five year Paintball veteran. I sold my marker to buy a WELL R-8 G3 SAS and I can say that it was the best thing I have ever done! I love this game and can't wait to meet and play with you guys, I have heard alot of great things!
Thanks everyone!

| Thanks! I found this site when I was doing a search on airsoftcanada for Prince George players, and was amazed to find all you guys. Finding responcible serrious players were a hard thing to find in paintball, so when I switched to Airsoft I was glad to find a more "Adult" communtiy of players.
I thing that really turned me on to Airsoft is MilSim! I can't wait, it's something I could have never of done with the people I used to play with.
Thanks alot guys. can't wait to play my first game with ya!

| looks like the blackhawk add.
To bad you just missed the Milsim a few weeks ago. We are planning something for August though.
What do you have for gear so far? Do you need to get verified to see the used section for guns on airsoftcanada? I can get you verified.

| STAY AWAY FROM TM armalites! m733, new type M4 and s-system are alright but the V2 gearboxes hate the cold anyway.
Play a few games with what you have and see what looks good and what fits your playing style.
Three guns I highly remomend are the G36c-can be converted to m4 mags AK spetznas AUG

| Yeah I am looking into a Tokyo Marui P90, but for right now I had to suffice for the R-8. But I had seen it fired before I bought it and it wasn't too bad at all. The one thing that swayed me to buy it was thet I can change parts for real TM ones.
I had to talk the wife into it, if you know what I mean! LOL

| Yeah definately! The G36c looks like a very, very, nice gun. I was thinking of buying the Jing Gong G36C, do you know much about it? I have read some great reviews, but I imagine there is allways more to it. Yeah, for the start of this season I had to buy a gun that fit my budget, I just had a baby so cash can get tight! LOL. But I am definately looking for a higher quality gun in a few months! Any help would be appreciated choosing one. Shemagh | |

| 416 has a jing gong and he is very happy with it. They seem to be a great deal and worth the $$$. shooting 340fps stock seem to be an exact clone of the TM's parts are compatible if I remember right.
PM 416 he might tell you more

| I was wondering if you know anywhere here in PG that sells Army Surplus? I miss the old days of City Central. I could have just signed my paycheck over to them from when I was 13-19. I have recently been just buying online which is great, but would allways like to check out stuff in person. Thanks for the help Shemagh | |

| So do you have your own private games? Or know how I can get in on any? My friend and I haven't got to get into more than a 1 on 1 Airsoft game, and would love to meet others sometime soon. I have allready played a dozen paintball games so far this season so I am allready pumped, and ready! Shemagh | |

Three guns I highly remomend are the G36c-can be converted to m4 mags AK spetznas AUG Bah, everyone knocks TM V.2. I have never had any problems and that is running 30k+ BB's through a stock TM V.2 armalite, and some of that was in cold weather, Gerrens House winter game (-8 or so).Mind you, for the sake of Airsoft, getting a G36c and a PP Magwell adaption will give you a gun that runs well, uses the most common mag, and will serve as an excellent workhorse. Get a better stock or a large fore-grip and you can use large batteries (or have a horrible looking monster wiring job in the back). AK's are also nice, plenty of mags available, again, a work-horse gun. I would not recommend the AUG due to the price of getting mag's and the lack of expansion and modding, which the AK's, G36's, and Armalites have tons for. Also, a P90 is a bit dated now and has price issues with the mags. If you are looking for a decent bullpup, get a rare gun like the L85 or the new G&G FAMAS. You will look hella cool and have something very unique (Regas LasVegas and a few others on ASC do gun group orders for unique stuff, that or get a retailer to order one in for ya). -Doug

| Thats awesome to hear! I have had read a ton of reviews of the V2 gearbox, and from what I have read, for the amount of funds that I had to spend on one, that it was definately a decent first rifle Plus the cost factor played into the fact, I have two girls and a wife, so I have to make the allmighty dollar stretch!LOL. I plan on looking either into a TM P90 or a Jing Gong G36C, after I have had some time with this one. I really like the look of the P90, but I know what you mean about the price of mags!!! But my friend and I are really looking at that JG G36C as our next guns. Also when I have been looking up the FPS for the WELL R-8 G3 SAS, I notice that many sites FPS are different? It usually ranges from 270-350, so I didn't know exactly why other than marketing reasons and bb size, or something else. But from what I have researched they all seem to be the same gun? Also what would you recommend shooting in this gun? Thanks for all the help! Shemagh | |

| I am sure I gave Horton back the chrono
We have a club chrono so we can give you the FPS when you come out. Most sites lie about FPS to make a gun look better. If they do not specify both the FPS and with what BB weight, then they are usually clueless (of course, most assume it is with a .2g bb, but unscrupulous sites use a .12g as the basis).
I would highly recommend using .25g BBs. Even with a stock gun, it will greatly increase you accuracy and effects of the hop-up.
People have been saying good stuff about the Jing Gong G36c, so I would go with the flow and say a great gun to get for a real starter gun. Since it is TM cloned, you can upgrade it, as you see fit, with few difficulties.
