As always here, I am chairsofting happily through ASC used forums and found a good deal. The Bushmaster is a serious weight saver compared to the previous setup, almost makes me want to swap permanently. Though it has a lack of rails, it does have the nub for bi-pods and a rail for front sights.

Conclusion:
-Great for saving weight, very light.
-Has enough little extras to get you by, ie bipod nub, front rail.
-Very little to get caught on stuff, smooth and easy to grasp.
-KA has recently put out a cheap version, $100 or something...

I am a little confused. Which piece are you referring to when you say bushmaster?

Bushmaster (in this case) is referring to the front end.

Just a brand stlye, just as VLTOR has a variety of front ends but is recognized for it's one piece front.

Ha ha ha, you are always tough competition when it comes to pimping out your gun. We need to have a chairsofter show-down one day. Mind you, your photos are always WAAAAAAY better. I really need to get an SLR.

I figured that was it but I'm a little slow sometimes. Thanks for the clarification.
