Holy Burning Mills Batman!

Last night a good friend of the family who works for the city stopped by and told us that NCP had caught fire and he was told to go open all of the pumps for the firefighter. The firefighters have been battling this fire all night and I just want to be the first on the forum to say what a good job these guys have been doing. I hope everyone gets to go home to their families today.

yeah I saw this on the news this morning! The sparks also started another fire at a warehouse 1km away as well as a downtown business!

The news went on to say the PG has declared a state of emergency!

With guys like Bill on the force, we know they are going to give it their all. Like Jensen said, hopefully everybody makes it home to their families. Good luck guys!

I didn't hear about it till I was heading to work and my wife called to tell me about the mill blaze, leaving town the first time it looked as if it was under control then when I came back 5 hrs later all hell broke loose, you could see 3 distinct fires coming down Pedan hill, 1 near the gov scales, one somewhere by freightliner and around the bend at NCP.

I figured with having three fires, one of them being to that extent that the city would have called for some aid...I know our stations work extensively together for large fires. Last mill fire we had brought out 5 different stations.
