| I have seen that before but thanks for the reminder. It's ironic because they took the oldest model of gun and made it into a pulse rifle. I am honestly looking at options for another gun or upgrades..so far it's lose lose. | |

| Support guns are soo much money!! When I look at how much I have sunk into tom already though I could have bought a new M60...hmmm. I am going to the bonvoyage tomorow and am buying a rail for tom. I pulled him all apart last night (really cool take down features I never new about) and found an easy way to add a rail without having to drill any new holes in the body. I am definatly sending him out to calgary to get upgraded to 350fps this winter too. You thought he was ugly before. | |

| Hortons Heroes - Gun Doctor Level +1 Yeah Dave, way to go, what do your guts look like? Is it a big block like V.2 & 3 or is it a weird mechanism? Here is a pic of the new V.7 mechbox... Yeah, upgrading it will be a challenge... -Doug- | |

| looks small and simple. A 2/3 size of the v2 that I have seen. I am deffinatly going to get that rail put on. There is a real gun smith in town that does professional work for cheap. Something like $50 to attach my rail with parts included. To make sure it's done right I think it's worth the money. | |

| BAH! The tom adventures continue...The tab that connects my outer barrel to the reviever snapped somewhere on Saturday. I'm missing any parts but if you want to see what I mean take a look in the doctors corner on ASC. http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=20663TM doesn't make spare outer barrel for the M1A1 so I'm going to have to patch this up somehow. There are 2-3 ways I could go to fix this. Check out the links on that thread and let me know if you have the tools or clue on how to fix it. Thanks guys. | |

| That is lame, so very lame...
It would not be very hard to whip something together like what is advertised on the thread. All it is doing to re-attaching the tab on the outer barrel and putting a jointer between the two.
If not, $50 is a fairly cheap fix... I think...
There is alot of room on the inside on the Tom barrel, right?

| Hey Dave, have you thought of getting a different front end, like a longer front end and inner barrel? Make it into a sniper rifle, or at least more accurate? Or do an AK front end and make it into a bit more ergonomic and tech looking gun? Common, that pulse rifle is looking pretty good now, eh? -Doug- | |

| Looking at it last night it would be really easy to fix. I just need to find a place that will cut 3-5mm steel. I have thought about adding a longer barrel...wouldn't take much at all. | |

| I have some steel bars here at home, also the nessessary cutting and shaping tools. If anything, nothing like a quick trip to Canadian Tire won't solve... I also have some weld epoxy...

| Toms outer barrel broke but after some time with a grinder, jigsaw and welding steal I have a fix!! The barrel is so solid now, it's going to be really easy to attach a new barrel and make it sturdy, if anyone gets word of a psg1 tightbore give me a heads up and I'll buy if it's a good deal. Is that a Desert Eagle barrel on tommy? | |
