| Ok I was having problems of BB's only flying a couple feet and today, BB's stopped shooting at all. I took the gun apart and pulled out the inner barrel. When I looked in the end of the hopup, there was a BB sitting there. I thought it would just roll out but it wouldn't. When I looked at the end of the barrel there was ANOTHER BB staring me in the face and it to would not roll out of the barrel!
I got a long rod and very softly push the BB down the barrel. The problem was literally 5 BB's stuck along the length of the barrel! They all came out the end as if they weren't stuck at all! I use only MetalTech brand BB's and yet Ive been having this problem now for awhile, yet never THIS bad. There is a 6.04mm tightbore in it so that is also be helping to cause the problem.
I can't think of what else it might be. I've never had problems with MetalTech Bb's before....

| Not to complain about metaltech as I've been using them for years with no problems, but I have found a nub in a bag before so it could be an imperfection. | |

| Multiple imperfections? This has not happened the last three time the gun was fired.
Im awaiting for the new mags, need to find silicone oil, give the barrel a cleaning, and new ammo (this stuff is the bottom of the barrel, last 400 rounds type of stuff).
i have NEVER have a problem with MT brand BB's before....

| If it's the bottom of the bag you could have got some crap in there or something. Otherwise maybe an imperfection in the barrel or maybe you're not getting a good seal on the nozzle on every shot? Does it ever jam up on semi or just full auto? | |

| Jam on both, the 5 in the barrel were on semi.... ASC has come up with this:
- dirty barrel
- needs lube (never had that problem *cough*)
- tightbore problem (doubtful since I can roll BB's all the way through the barrel without problem)
- crappy mag
- hopup rubber problem
- bad BB's

| To me it still sounds like a nozzle problem. It should still fire the bb's if there are 2 or 3 in the barrel and nothing is jamming them. I believe Walker or Dustin from FSJ airsoft had a problem with the nozzle on one of their G&P guns which wouldn't let it seal properly where the nozzle meets the hopup. I've also heard of similar problems with ICS guns.
dirty barrel - You'd think once you cleaned it would be ok.
needs lube - I take it you've already sprayed some silicon spray in there and cleaned the barrel.
crappy mag - possible, but swapping to a different mag should fix this. Are you using locaps? I've heard that some guns have problems with locaps as the top of the mag may not let it seat properly in the magwell. Some cheap mags (UTG MP5) are known to load multiple bb's but that usually results in firing 2 or 3 bb's at once rather than jams.
hopup rubber problem - Possible, do you have any jams when the hop is backed off all the way?
Bad BB's - Possible but you should be able to see any major imperfections on the BB's that you removed from the barrel and they should have been jammed and more difficult to get out (certainly not just rolling out).

| Well whatever it might be Im sending it down to Burnaby to be fixed. A guy down there says he'll fix it and I only have to pay shipping and parts costs. Hopefully he'll sort it out! dirty barrel - The inside was almost spotless needs lube - could be, I dont have any crappy mag - Ive only got a single mag, a G&P midcap which I heard were complete JUNK! Coem to think of it, I think this problem started after I sold all the other mags and just kept this one and started using it.... hopup rubber problem - I get this problem no matter what the hopup is doing (which is annoying to try and get perfectly to shoot straight!) bad barrel - doubtful since bbs slide through it fine! If you want to check out some WEIRD pictures of a jam I had go to the thread I posted on this at ASC (link below to the exact page) http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=64930&page=3 | |

| I'd try a different mag and/or silicon oil before shipping it out. Could be something that simple. | |

No mags or oil within a 6 hour round trip and Im headed to Alberta for two weeks in a matter of days. Easier for me just to get it done this way....

Already shipped out! There were multiple things that needed to be done internally by a gun doc and the gun will be ready for me by the time I get back from Alberta and it's only costing me shipping fees and parts (which should only be a hopup rubber). No worries on my part and the money is no problem. Id rather get the gremlin properly fixed then hoping I got it fixed only to find out different a week later.

reattaching the barrel inner barrel (changing it if needbe) and maybe swapping out the hopup rubbing if I tore it. I have a feeling those few broken BBs the first time I fired the gun might have started this chain reaction! No worries though! He'll then lube it all and make sure things are working ok before shipping it back! Cost me only $14 to ship the gun to this guy! I just have bad LUCK with guns it seems lol!

| check to see if your inner barrel is ovalised, might have gotten squashed in transport. also your nozzle might be to short. how ever i am having similar problems with mine, G&P metal hope up unit, stock nozzle and tapet, the nzzle broke were it clips into the tappet causeing all sorts of wierd things to happen, my remedy, metal nozle and re-enforced tappet, if you havent looked into that area id give it a check | |

| Well the gun doc looked it over and added some new parts:
NEW PARTS ADDED: Guarder Enhanced hop up unit Guarder Hard Hop up rubber Barrel stabilizer ring
He also said that half the problem was due to the G&P midcap lol!

Up and running and he's taking it out to a game to test it out (my payment to him for working on it for free)
