Anyone know for sure if this would fit in my CA Scar-L?

Oh, prolly not because of the ambidextrous fire selector on the Scar. Rats...

I would think it should fit, they are both V2. But I'm not 100% on that.

well looking it it the scar has a pin that runs through it to operate the ambidextrious trigger switch.

Here is a side shot of the scar gearbox with the little gear for the fire selector.

I didn't see that was missing on the Scar box. I have the same peace on my V2 box as on the Scar box and I think it was the body that would stop an ambidixtras not the gear box. Worse case you have a dremill.

The mechbox will fit, Billy is right, both are V2's; however I cannot say about the ambi mag release thingy. I am thinking that it can probably be taken off from your original mechbox and can be placed within the new one.
