| What a great day. I loved everything that happened! Mind you I havn't played in 4 months so how could you not love it. Great to see some new faces out and looking forward to seeing them out again soon.
Ten players total over the day. Zombies, bomb plant then fireteam work. Really enjoyed the fireteam game and trying out some new areas. The second area worked far better for sure.
If anyone else wants to organize a game between now and Oct fly at it.

| My friend had fun, and it sounds like he'd be interested in a milsim. But I think he got way too much joy from shooting me though. And I had a great time although my beautiful face took a beasting. Shot in the cheek, lip, tongue, tooth and nose! I might have to rethink that hood thing I wear... | |

| At that range I should easily have missed your head area... I was a bit surprised to see you turn. And I had no idea the other guy was there! In the future, the person saying 'mercy' or something like that should say it very loud--and be prepared to get shot. But I think there's been discussion about even trying a mercy 'cuz it just leads to poorly aimed close range shots. I am pretty sure I was just supposed to have shot at your butt with no warning. | |

| I hate mercies...just shoot my ass if ya got the shot. Nothing kills the moment like starting a 'dialog'
But I will abid by the rules....but I am cool with being light up...been there still doing that (smile)

| Agreed, I think we should look at replacing the mercy rule. Too many people don't understand how it is supposed to work. I've had people try to call mercy on me while I was facing them with my gun pointed at them. So I'm supposed to try to run away before I can shoot, just because they called mercy first? That's not what the mercy rule is for... it's supposed to be for when someone clearly has another person at a disadvantage. Ie. you've walked right past a person in a ghillie suit (or he's snuck up on you)and he can now shoot you in the back from close range.
If you come up behind someone and don't want to shoot them then just say "hands up" or "freeze" and if they so much as move then feel free to light them up. Or if you're close enough just touch the barrel to the middle of their back and say "bang, you're dead". That's worked pretty well in the past.

| Yup...I'll aim lower next time. There was such a long pause from my "mercy?" to when he turned to aim that I started to lower my gun, then snapped it up again. Or thats how it felt anyway. I did not want to shoot him at all let alone a head shot. Thus the botched mercy kill. So I am for the Just-Shoot-The-Guy-In-The-Butt strategy. It is still gonna hurt though... | |
