| I realize now that what we did was very far away from what I was thinking when I named it outpost...oh well.
Around 10 players give or take a few folks. My appologies for getting started late, it would have been nice to use more of the time. I think the only thing I would change about that game would be to make the ammo boxes easier to find... and multiple pens...and give the van more protection...and....OK well the game wasn't perfect.
Looking forward to a few pictures from the Jeff.
Lots of highlights driving the Van for the first round and having a little blackhawk down moment when we stalled and killed the battery. Well done to the crash survivors!
Love to hear some more thoughts.

| I 'd be up for trying something similar again! Yeah the game wasn't perfect, but it was a blast, besides a little improv didn't hurt I agree on the ammo boxes, second game was good on that. I think the van as it was gave us a closer to real scenario. BB can't go through metal, but real bullets can shoot up a vehicle fairly easily, unless they're designed to better protect from bullets. So the lack of BB stopping capability would bring it more in line with a heavier vehicle's bullet stopping capability. In other words i found the sense of vulnerability to be more "real." As i mentioned in another thread, this scenario is so far my favorite i've attended. Bombing around in that van was awesome. The stalled van thing was epic. On the flip side, diving for cover from the van was intense to say the least. Coordinating and advance while searching for the crates proved exhilarating. And to top it all off, riding on the roof of the van was probably a little too much fun I'd like to give props to Yuurei, my "Black Hawk" comrade who managed to keep me alive during the whole incident. He kept the vehicle ours while i was tending to a pistol wound to my right calf. And of course special thanks to the Drum Mag, took the edge off a little I look forward to the next game. | |

oh and Yuurie i still have your strap! i haven't forgotten about it. maybe we should get together quick so i can give it back, or if its not a rush rush kinda thing, i'll just give it back at the next game? let me know.

| Game was great dave and very little to change it. More people and few more "ammo" drops and it would be perfect. Thanks for another awesome day. Tired and sore now. And to those who are now calling me "Pops".........who got the most grenades in the van?!? Woot woot. | |

| You know card board duct taped to the missing windows on the van might simulate metal siding with the effect of being metal. Close range bb's could penetrate the cardboard. | |

| I see one problem with that, we have to shoot out of those windows Though i do like the idea, might be a way to work something like that in. | |

| We should have done what we did last van game. One guy on the top of the Van who cannot die and the driver can't die either. This way you have to use the bangers or get really lucky with a nade shot. Even if you can imobalize the van you still have to get past the top gunner. Damaged vehichle tires/tracks but the weapons still working. | |
