PostSubject: Re: Propane adaptors   Propane adaptors EmptyMon 19 Oct 2009, 12:02 am

To answer the question more directly, the adapter simply screws onto the propane tank, and you fill the mag while holding the entire bit upside down, as shown in your (N)GBB user's manual. Like Dirtnap said, make sure you use silicone oil (not the aerosol crap, it has additives that will do damage over time) or you will destroy your mag in no time.

Yes b4 you attach it to the can. Usually adding a drop or two of silicone oil in it first helps the seals in the mag stay lubricated.

PostSubject: Re: Propane adaptors   Propane adaptors EmptyWed 21 Oct 2009, 10:28 am

Just to clarify - Proper technique is as follows: Before you attach the adapter, put 1-2 drops of silicon onto the propane tank. You then screw on the adapter and its ready for use.

Most propane adapters will come with instructions. Save yourself the hassle and just go buy one.

You will only need to add silicone every 7-8 mags. If you do it every time, you will end up having too much.
