| I am so flippin tired...
Great time overall. I will admit the Zombie went on a little to long, as in twice as long as it should have. Thanks for your patience. I forgot that it takes us a bit to get in the groove for how we set-up walls and run games so that we arn't just sitting around or getting clogged in choke points.
Playing with the shotgun was an absolute blast! Nothing more satisfying then landing 3 BBs right in someone mask. Loved the 2nd to st game just for the size of the building we could make and the pace. The last game was fun just to unload your mags into someone!
Thanks to all for the help cleaning up. Jason and Matt your help in making those walls was great. Those extra 14 really made it.
In the club money we are still above $150 and that is after we bought 5 walls from the club money. That should hold us over well into April if we keep getting over 10 players for CQC.
Love to hear some thoughts on how we can make better staging areas without the kitchen. I will try and convince them to open that up for us but I know they are hesitant.
From the CQC last year the lesson we learned at the end was to define a clear ending time and I think that would be a good move again. I could have gone longer last night but I am glad it did end before it dragged out to long.
There were 20 players overall that came out. I will make sure to lock the inner set of doors next time as we had a way to many blind man calls. I thought the putting guns down and masks off went well and I didn't see any thing that scared me to badly....except the boom of a nade going off, but we figured that out.
LOVE TO SEE SOME FOOTAGE AND PICS!

| Think about it, if we weren't standing, we were shooting for about 7hrs or more.
Though i do agree, i didn't expect to be this sore... Was loads of fun.

| And while I am waiting to have Windows Movie Maker finish processing the rest of the footage (non zombie), as an aside, here is a link to the youtube entry of a feature on our field. The was talk of a FOB and this was what I was mentioning. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRJ4D2PX_QQ | |

| After reviewing the zombie footage, and thinking about the game I think that the concept is good, but some additions would help.
1) Layout. Change it so humans can not simply circle around. Have some walls touch the perimeter forcing humans to enter the maze.
2)Targeting. Any zombie enthusiast will tell you that pistols are only good if the shot is direct to the brain. A shot anywhere else would not inconvenience a zombie overly. How about we tape a 4" balloon to the chest or shoulder to simulate a skull enclosed brain shot. If that balloon is untouched, you as a zombie are still good to go.
3) Infected. A classic zombie cliche. One or more of the humans are already infected and at a random time WILL turn and attempt to eat their buddies. Simulate by loading the normally 15 round mag short. Tell zombie privately that when they are empty that is when they TURN. This would introduce a level of tension needed for a truly superior zombie experience.
4) Lighting. Kill all of it. Hand one chem light to each player. Scatter some around or tape to walls...this would give zombies a CHANCE to lurch out of a closet for a kill.
My wife is a movie special effects make up artist and doing up a zombie is fun, and with these rules in mind I am now thinking about running a zombie game next hallows eve.

| I like your bunker bit, might have to make it to one of your games For Zombies 1 - Totally agree on a more restrictive layout. 2 - Like the idea, but i'm not sure a balloon would be very reliable. Perhaps a 4" Circle of tinfoil might work. I'd imagine anything that would make a distinctive noise would work. 3 - Might be cool to try that. 4 - Sounds like it'd be fun. | |

| I like the tinfoil circle. Good thinking. It also give the zombies an extra reason to lurch on approach...harder to hit that kill zone. | |
