How to play soldier

Found this on ASC. Has some swearing in it but mostly good stuff. A must read before anyone comes to play a game.

i think he should have added a section about radio standards like how to open/close a communication and not to say "roger wilco" being as the two words mean the same damned thing in radio comms (thats a pet peeve of mine). and people should know the phonetic alphabet. none of this made up stiff

Roger means ok I understand and wilco means will comply differnt things

srry to be a bit of an ass but no that's not the case.

I was in cadets for a good number of years and i did a lot of training with the reg forces. in military radio procedures they mean the same thing and its kinda taboo to say the two together.

again sorry if i came across as an ass there not trying to stir the s***pot.

i sppose i could write a manual on military radio procedures then everyone would be on the same page.

Either way radios are used fairly loosely in airsoft games. The worst is the throat mike set to vox and you just hear the guy panting while he jams the channel. My other pet peeve is the person who announces every action via radio

reloading...moving...crouching...farting...thinking about supper...reloading again. Get's a little annoying.
