| reason being its around a 250mm barrel ish, unless its extended into that silencer.
Plus, unless dave bought more mags, that thing only comes with one midcap and 3 low caps. But that should be interesting I guess.

| same inner barrel length at a G36c, should be fine outdoors if I get it going around 330-350fps | |

| fair enough, I just think when a gun is designed for CQB and such, its more of a CQB gun than an outdoors gun, but I suppose I cant speak because I havent used them side by side | |

| The only barrel length I have noticed that doesn't work to well outdoors is the 110mm of the Mp5K. The spread is a bit much and the range seems lacking with the K.
250mm is a bit longer than an mp5 a4 and they do alright outdoors. When I shortened my Aug from an M16 to M4 inner barrel I didn't notice any loss of accuracy. Mind you the 552/G36/P90 barrel is 10 cm shorter than the M4 Shooting full auto helps with that as well.
From my experience (which can be wrong argued) higher FPS with heavier BBs (.25s over .2s) makes a bigger difference for accuracy in outoutdoor games than barrel length.

| I've used a 552 for several years now, I find it works very well outdoors. Even when stock it was competitive with any other stock gun out there. I've (dave actually) upgraded it to ~340/350 with a slightly longer (extra 3cm) tite-bore hidden in a silencer and I shoot .25s. For the most part the ranges we play at at Busters are well within accurate range of this gun. One exception was trading shots will Bill at Busters 2 at long distances. My SIG was way less accurate with a huge spread. But I think a big part of that was the gob of silicone spray on the hop up after maintenance.
This gun still works great for being 5 years old. I've had/have M-14, M-16 and AK and by far my favorite for play is the SIG. Any future guns will likely also be a SIG, maybe G&G when it comes out or the ICS. They just fit right.
