CALLING ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS: Club Banner

It appears that our club banner is far outdated and needs to be redone. Most of the pictures taken over recent months are far too dark and down right kind of ugly... from a design point of view.

So I'm releasing picture control to you guys. I know Dave hates posed pictures, but since most of our shots are action shots and unusable, I guess that's what I'm stuck with.

So here's the deal:

1) take a picture of yourself (or friends) be as all tacti-cool as you want
2) post on forum
3) best pictures win and appear on the banner

I only ask that you post appropriate pictures and try to be a bit artisy. I'm not kicking around there so I'm relying on you guys to get me pictures.

[edit] Looking for plain jane pictures. Please no additional photoshop or anything like that. They'll be edited later to tie everything together.

If all else fails... we'll just have the words "NIA" written across.

Anyways, let me know your ideas, etc.

hey, I should have looked at this earlier, I have photoshop here, either give me some ideas, or I can start pumping out designs in my spare time.

Does anyone have some ideas? what you want to see? specific guns? something that makes us unique? maybe an airsofter riding a moose?

As awesome as it would be to have something crazy on the banner. I think it should be something that says that we're a legit club. Sorry to ruin the fun. But its the first thing people see. I think faces and body shots do well.

what about a picture of somebody or a group of people decked out in gear going through a field at the bottom of a hill made to look like it was taken through a rifle scope

sounds pretty easy, just need a good camera

okay, bear with me, this is really simple, its just an idea, what do you guys think so far? what needs more, what needs less. I need some feedback before I can move on (I want a new font and style of the text personally) but here is prototype one!
