April 14th SSM Game Empty
PostSubject: April 14th SSM Game   April 14th SSM Game EmptyFri 14 Apr 2006, 7:26 pm

I know this isn't directly connected to PGAC, but Hortons Heros asked me to take some pictures of my game with the SSM team here in Sask.

We played at one of the guys Grandparent's farm. There were 4 house/shed/garages things that we were allowed to play on the roofs, climb through windows, go in the basements, kick down doors, barricade, anything was fair game....oh there was also an old curling rink avaliable too... Anyways, some of the guys we using hot guns, including a brand new Systema M16, which was freaking amazing. Although the guy didn't actually play with it. I ended up caughting 2 shots from an upgraded rifle along the fingers from about 15-20 ft away, while I was inside clearing a room in a house.

Sorry for not taking very many pictures, well only one. There might be a video coming up on their site later on, but no promises.

No, they encouraged to take your pistol out in the CQB stuff. For example there was me and another guy alive, and he was upstairs and I was down, so I dropped my MP5 off at the bottom of the stairs and took out my Glock. I then saw a pair of legs come from the stairs and so I shot them, only to find out that they were the camera man's legs. Anyways in conclusion, I ended getting shot in the finger from 20 some odd feet by an upgraded rifle. I'm not sure how fast it was shooting, but when stock AEG's shoot, it takes like maybe 1-1 1/2 seconds to hear it hit. With this one it was bam right there when he'd pull the trigger.

Nice area for CQB.

Even some stock AEG's are too powerful for CQB. I caught a couple bb's in the hand from that G3 last time I was out and it left a nice blood blister on my thumb. It hurt more than the shot I took in the forehead with that mk1 carbine. Of course it would have helped a bit if I'd been wearing my gloves. Smile
