| Many Mosfets like the Triggermaster or similar also have a Burst feature. If you're looking for a more, all in one, package. I've personally haven't tried it out, but it seems pretty cool.
A Mosfet in general is pretty much a must if you're running a 3s Lipo or 9.6v nimh or more. I've watched the trigger contacts pretty much disintegrate in about 50-100 trigger pulls using a 3s lipo. Your mileage may very.
I believe Airsoftparts.ca will be getting in some new tech as far as mosfets in the near future as well. Noticed in their site add a bit ago.
As for that particular unit, quick look through reviews is less then favorable. A couple customers claimed theirs smoked, others say it adds a lot of resistance to the circuit, though any Mosfet may do the same there. Additionally, you have to hold the trigger down to finish the burst, not a one trigger pull then it shoots the preset amount. I believe other trigger mosfets have already achieved the latter, which is more realistic. That all being said, the price of the unit isn't high, so it's really up to the buyer if it's what they want.

| What would be the difference between a mosfet and this? They claim it's not a mosfet? Having never researched lipos I am a little lost. | |

| I just noticed that, it just plugs right into the line it appears.
A Mosfet generally is a bit more advanced, you have to connect the trigger contacts seperate. That way it acts as a signal instead of carrying any real current. The motor are connected to a different port of the mosfet, same with the battery wires. So when the trigger makes the signal to the mosfet chip, it then opens the floodgates from the battery to the motor. Thus never putting on wear and tear on the trigger contacts.

| I like that the avacado has a lifetime warranty. Will the Toronto retailer honour the warranty? | |
