I just bought a new midcap and it isn't working properly. It keeps jamming. I tried spraying some selicon lub in to it which seemed to help a little but it still keeps jamming. any advise. I'm kind of scared to just rip it apart.

Most caps jam when they are new. Just fill it up full, jammed full, then release them, fill again, release, etc. Do this about 3-5 times and it should be functional.
