Here is some more information, from a recent PM...
The purpose of this game is REAL skill. This means that limited ammo, limited firepower at first, and having to work to improve is paramount...
Only YOU can buy your gear. Only YOU can use your gear.
The point of this game is to start everyone as equals, and let people of skill to build up and progress faster than others. If you have the skill, people will still be using crappy springers where others will have their AEG and GBB... Mind you, this is where team play is important, help your members out and become a stronger team!!!
Money is gained from killing people, completing objectives, stealing from bases, doing missions, etc. Much like a video game...
For example, when you start off with your $100, that is if nobody gives you some right away for being on their team...
1 >300fps GBB
20 .20g BB's
By getting the most kills right away, you can upgrade faster, exponentially gaining faster... With the use of skill in combat and smarts on how you build yourself up, you can be very powerful right away...
For you to fully suit up in BDU should only cost you around $50 max...
For you to build to what you play with right now:
$50 for your full BDU
$20 for your >200 fps Springer
$280 for you stock AEG with one TM lowcap ~65 rnds.
That is $350. Not that much...
For me, Doug, it will be around:
$50 for BDU
$30 for <200 fps springer and extra clip
$640 for upgraded AEG with one TM lowcap ~65 rnds.
Total: $720, a wee bit of a difference...
I don't know, it was fun to do in Terrace, the Brits have clubs that do similar things, I just like the whole Counter Strike money system that rewards skill... and makes you wait for the good stuff....
