they are different...that's the point. People like them for their own reasons. Chunky is not better than smooth nor is smooth better than chunky. This question has no answer...I suppose this is BBs bar.

Ask it on a airsoft site they are going to say airsoft, ask it on a paintball sit they are going to say paintball.
