| Thanks, numbers are added, besides the C8, what brands are the other guns?
Also, everyone, if you get your gun chrono'd this weekend, post your numbers here for future reference.

Yeah, I think that I am going to make a new mark for complete customs, ©. When over 50% of the gun in non-stock (ie both body and mechbox), then for ease of purpose, I will mark it ©. -Doug

lol, well, at least it ain't stock I just don't want to be calling guns SystemA if there mechbox is but their body is guarder, their front is King Arms, etc. There are SystemA guns, but nobody here has the PTW. If I tried, there is no name for that one AR something gun I have. There is nothing stock in it, it is a horrible mess of half a dozen brands and shoots about as well as a mess gun... (well, it is fixed up now, but boy the semi is un-reliable, it is more like 3round burst). I think that it is interesting that so many TM's are used in this club. Is it just because we all started with TM or we like them? -Doug

| According to the FPS math, you will be shooting ~262.4 FPS with .2g, or roughly 80mps. Mind you, .25g will knock a few FPS off, so you will prolly be around ~265fps. Time for an upgrade, (talk to Dave)!
Would you like to retest with .2's or just use the conversion?

Well, I have tested with a near "perfect" system of the best parts money can buy for internals, hop-up, and barrel, with .12, .2, .25, and .28, and yeah, the effect is minimal, but there is FPS lost, usually within mear feet. Conclusion, yeah, go with the heavier weight, a loss of 5fps (on top of normal calculated FPS) is worth the superior accuracy and brush cutting. Mind, for his case, don't forget that unless you take a mean/standard deviation of 10+ shots, most stock guns tend to vary by 20fps per shot (again another reason to upgrade and use heavier shot, less FPS varience). -Doug

| I would just get a tightbore. It would give you better accuracy and maybe 20 more fps.
Edit: Horton, my m4 is shooting 380.

| 20fps seems a little high for just a tightbore. I got 10fps from mine going in and that was high too. Most make it go up 5-10
I can put in metal bushings and a harder spring for around $50 (give or take $10). That will take it up to either 300-330-350...choice it yours.

| Jackboot, I added your fps to the list for you, I left it as a G&P(hope I got the bramd right) because I took a look at the custom build on the website and its just custom built out of G&P parts anyways... | |

| Depends on what lube your talking about... gearbox yes and no, hopup and barrel yes.
Any upgrades will wear your gun out, that is the downside of upgrading. Doesn't matter what you put into it, upgrades will wear things out. Especially if the stuff you get put in don't go well together...

| Nice graph. Of course, these are just calculated numbers from an equation, so technical they are on some logrithmatic curve so no, there really is no difference in BB weight and FPS varience (that is why they fan out so proportionally). The graph does not take into consideration initial acceleration speeds in the barrel, thus heavier BB's take the same proportional initial energy to fire, which is not true.
We need to do our own in house graph, not one that is just an equation. I think MadMax did something...
Mind you, that does explain why you get more FPS to joules between BB weight at higher speeds, thus falsifying my current hypothesis of weight to FPS loss.
Good find, we will have to hunt down some more.

| Yes, it should be. The MS110 spring if you install it should be pushing it up to the 390ish area.
I can see that your chart stops right at the are that my Systemas are running with the M150 kit. I guess this means you won't let me play with it at your fields? I could go semi-only, but I can still get 5+ rounds/second in semi, so it's like a burst function.
