| $6 an ACU BDU???!!!!
Group Order???! GROUP ORDER!!! Jeez, if we can get them in for ~$25 cnd a BDU we can actually have a Team Camo!!!
Seriously, this is an oppurtunity that is hard to pass on.
Frag, if you are grabbing some, I will take two!
EDIT: AWhh, it is only the shirt... Still... Lets find some cheap pants to go along with it... If it is still ~$25 a shirt, that is still amazing!
Doubel EDIT: DOUBLE AWwwwhh, it is only one item on bid... I thought it was a surplus buy it now item... I am heart broken...

| As long as shipping stays down, $50 usd is a great deal still. I am sure that once more of us show up to games in MC and ACU, people might start jumping on the band wagon. Took me a lot of convincing to ditch the woodlands but now I am sold.
I will take one too if we can get a proper supplier. Still, those cheapo deals are insane.

| You guys should check with Mark at A&A for BDUs. Occaisonally, he gets in ACU, MARPAT, CADPAT in unissued new army surplus. I just received a set of issue MARPAT brand new, still with the tags on it. Cost me $150 Canadian, or a little bit more than cheap Tru-Spec knock off garbage. I know he has ACU and desert MARPAT (I got woodland) still in stock. Normally, you are paying $50ish per piece used on E-bay, or up to $150 per piece new from shops in the U.S., if they will sell to a foreigner.
You can also get relatively new (2005) IMPs for about $80/case, but they go really fast.

| Myself, I like to know for a fact that I will be the first person to be shot in my BDUs. I had an OD set with holes that were sewn. This was in the days when CF issue was all you got.
Nowadays, there's E-bay, so you can get good stuff like ACU, etc.
When I was in Nevada in November, you could only buy issue U.S. BDUs if you had your Service ID Card with you. They wouldn't sell to civilians. I checked at 3 different places, same story.
No problems on getting issued gear across the border (not by our Customs, but by U.S. Customs), what with the tightening up of U.S. export controls for military items lately?

| There is also ASC buy&sell. Most BDU's in near maculate condition for very good prices, not quite Frag prices, but I picked up some Issue ACU for $75 shipped, x2 rep multicam for the same. It is rep MC, ain't Crye, but I blew my $$$ on the CIRAS. I think that as ACU floods the market some more, I would like to see more ACU in the club.
I am finished with woodlands, it was fun but now to move on to smoething a bit better for the area (summer/fall). MacGuyver, any particular camo you enjoy?
Still, Frag, you are an ebay whiz, those are some amazing deals!

| I have repro Mulit-Cam, issue ACU and MARPAT woodland in a couple varieties. It's my most used camo by far.
Multi-Cam and ACU suck in a woodland environment. You might as well put a strobe on your head. MARPAT on the other hand kicks butt in a woodland environment. I've had experienced players literally step on me without seeing me. But it's limited to an area with flora. For CQB, ACU rules, but that's exactly what it was designed for.
Multi-Cam is okay in some environments, but is not a master in any by far. CP Multi-Cam uses an IRR-coating that literally glows under moonlight, and so do the quality CP-authorized makers like DropZone, HSGI, etc. Some guys who used it at KS2.5 last year regretted it for night-time ops.

| More cheap issue ACU, $30 cnd + shipping. http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=36799That military.com guys supports Multicam... A new pattern -- Army PEO Soldier is using a so-called "multicam" pattern in its testing of the Land Warrior system. This is a proven all-environment camouflage. It may stand out a tad more in urban environments, but the likelihood is the Soldier has already been detected. I say just adopt this pattern. He does have a good point, especially with the limited range of Airsoft. If you are not a camper and an active mover, most likely you have already been detected through sound and movement. Mind you, once detected, if you disappear once crouching or going prone, that is well worth the money investing in a proper BDU. As seen in ASC, the arguement over BDU's is long, drawn out, and full of personal preference. Best choice is just to purchase everything and find which works best with which field. As mentioned earlier, it may be in our interest to start doing camo comparison photos for each of our fields (Predator, Busters 1, Busters 2, Frag Kingdom, and the variety of private lands). That way new members may pass their own personal judgement from the photographic evidence provided (seasons taken into account also). -Doug | |

| Frag, if you find a good deal on boonies, put me down for one! I will be getting a MC boonie but not a ACU boonie, so I am in the business of looking for one.

| I've been gone too long and i obviously missed the ACU rush. I was out and about this weekend and looked at ACU and MARPAT. But of course choose MARPAT. And way too late take it back. &#@$! | |

| I dare not. My wife bugs me enough as it is about my airsoft 'outfit'. If she found I was matching with the others on purpose she'd make airsoft unbearable. Horton's showed up in woodland for a ride once, and my wife saw the two of us side by side...it was bad. | |
