Well, I just threw in a SP100, it is suppose to put me around 387fps with .2g's...

Well, a 509mm SystemA tightbore (same brand as used in spring tests) and a bore-up cylinder&head give me an extra 35fps... This means that due to the inner-barrel being tightbore in both my gun and in the test, the extra length of the barrel and the bore-up are giving 35fps more... Now, spring compression dictates that I will loose another 20fps max so that still puts me over the limit...

How very lame and time consuming...

I really hate to start the practice of clipping springs but it looks like that is the only avenue.... Springs have carefully aligned compression points that really do not bear well to becoming mis-aligned due to clipping... It probably won't make too much of a difference (there are straight springs also) but darn it...
