Boot Camp date TBA

I'm ready to organize a boot camp ASAP

Subject : Tactical carbine & Tactical Advanced

Place : Predator
Date : TBA (can be on evening during the week, let me know)
Price : TBA $5 for props+ predator fees ?
players : minimum 3, maximum 7. Spectators are welcome (safety glasses)
That's a 3h course on weapon use (carbine). Guns will be treated as real and the course will be like "Day one with a gun". I'll cover all the basics of weapons handling and use. There will be a lot of drill, a lot of shooting. No combat, no walking.

Requirements :

- AEG
- Minimum 3 mags
- Vest, chest rig, plate carrier, webbing...
- full battery and lots of BBs
- Speed loader or loading rod
- Sling
- Safety glasses, googles
- "Bush" clothing

recommanded : kneepads, 6 mags; tactical sling, magpull

If you want to attend the Tactical Advanced you need also :

- hangun
- holster
- Tactical sling


If you don't have all the required gear, ask around. For M16/MP5 based users I can supply gear.
It's a military based course so if you don't like "the green machine" way of teaching this course isn't for you

More than interested in attending this Bootcamp, as are probably more members of the MIA (we dont think we know it all) but if it is going to be an evening during the week i dont see the chance of any of us going. But also with a max of 7 players, maybe some day soon you can come up here and run a boot camp for the MIA team. Just a though, but if its going to be a weekend i will want to be there.

I'm just wondering. My brothers, (Ghost and Soul), and I are qualified range officers. If it is just weapons handling is there much point for us. Or would the 7 spots be better used for someone else? I am really interested in the idea of you coming up here to run one. We will cover the cost of your gas and provide you a BBQ lunch. Let us know what you think.

Frag, that would be too cool if we could have you come up here sometime to teach us, I would love to come up there for this one but with having kids and Zeus on gravyards I don't think there would be a chance!! I really need to find more babysitters LOL!!

I agree with travel. Though it is bad to place the burden on Frag to travel, the rest of NIA does owe MIA a few road trips for sure. Maybe some car pooling on the PG end would make things easier and cheaper for Frag to make the trip.

It would be great to have a dedicated squad out of Mac that is trained up and working as a cohesive team. Spank some PG arse for sure

Skipper, when I'm speaking about "gun 101" it's just the first 10-15mm when I'll speak about safety after that it's shooting shooting shooting

I've got 2 seats in my jeep so if we share the fuel, I can drive; who's in and when ?

I'm free untill this sunday (but not saturday), after that I think I'll have to go back to work (unless I'm banned from ebay ) so it will be week-end only and I can't plan on this (forestry camp).
So Sunday 6th works good for me.

The 12th is the only free weekend I have this month...count me out...

I could possibly make the 12th. I have to check with Amanda first, it's the only weekend I have off in May.

The 12th would be better for up here too. I'm worried about the snow level. When i walked in the field the other day i sunk to my knees a couple times. But, I'm always down, so anytime is good too.

ok, so the best I think is that we keep the PG game on the 12th and I'll come later for a boot camp. Anyway, I'll have to design a course for the MIA as you don't have the same level as us (see milsim result )
