| Well the newest addition to my airsoft family is an upgraded TM M16A2!
I'll have pictures posted hopefully Wednesday night! It should arrive in my hands HOPEFULLY Tuesday morning! All it needs is a metal body (still looking for one) and a new pistol grip for it (still looking as well) and I think it would look pretty bad ass. so if you have either that you want to sell please let me know!
Here are the details: TM M16A2 170% PDI Spring Metal Bushings Single Piece barrel RAS
Accessories are: Tasco RDS Rail 1 TM Hicap 1 TM Locap 10 Star Realcaps Sling Battery BB Loader
I paid a pretty heavy price for it but I wanted a solid armalite and this one doesn't have the damn barrel wobble problem. Like I said before it just needs a metal body (preferably with the carrying handle) and a new pistol grip to it.
I also plan on throwing my 4x32 AO Illuminated Mil-dot onto it as well!

| I know it doesn't have a detachable but 90% of the metal bodies I find dont come with a carrying handle. | |

| no they aren't but trying to find an A2 metal body is like looking for hens teeth. But the gun IS an A2 as it stands with it's plastic body.
As for pistol grips I might order one from Velocity Arms out of toronto.

| I want the carrying handle though since I mount a scope on top. Sadly buying the carrying handle seperately costs even more! | |

| Depending on what body it is (brand), depends on how much work they need. I believe Hurricane bodies are the best and require little to no modifications. I'm not sure about G&P, Daes what brand is yours?? Guess you also have a systema box... hmm, Drache check ASC, which I know you have already done so, but do it, I know that there's stuff written up fiting metal bodies. They'll probably be the best bet to figure out what to do and at least give you a good idea of what needs to be done on a G&P... Besides that, its basically buy a body and figure out things from there.
Go for the $220 one, who cares about custom fire selector words... besides I think those $220 ones come with a metal hop up, and furniture...

| Both come with all the furniture/hopup. I was thinking more of the used one since if it needed any modification then it would already have it since it was preinstalled. | |

| I have a G&P body. Quite nice, had a great finish, fits most everything fine, may have to do a little bit of shaving on the tappet plate.
Me, I am just tempted to sell off some of my guns and just be done with it and get a SystemA PTW. Planetary gear box, excellent build quality, superior accuracy and range. The amount we spend pimping our guns out, in the end, we should have just bought a PTW from the beginning.

| Mc Guyer convinced me of that too. If they ever came out with a Famas systema I would be all over that. | |

| Im slowly working my way up the ladder. The only reason I want a metal body is because mine has a crack in it. | |

| I dont know, I really cant justify paying $2500+ for an airsoft gun when a real steel version is 1/3 - 1/3 of the price.

-Doug And everyone of those gears is hardened. No shims or bushings either. No need for adjustments to gear meshing. Just install a replacement (not likely you'd ever need one) and go. And supposedly that box will handle an M170 with high ROF. But the cylinder and cylinder locking system had to be re-designed for a gun shooting over 600 fps (the fabled-upcoming SuperMAX PTW). And Dave, a FAMAS? GAAACK!! You may see the MP5 in your lifetime, but I wouldn't hold out for that ugly French gun.

I am becoming more and more sold on these PTW's. Are you hosting any big games this fall? Looking to add an out of town weekend sometime soon.

| Yep Dave, next weekend will be the big one for this year. Looks like I will have some space available at my house as well if you guys want to come up on Saturday. It's not official yet as my wife just told me her "ideas" for next weekend.
If you need, I'll push her out to visit her mother (she'd rather be there anyways)!!!

| The game is next Sunday, Sept. 16th in Grande Prairie, AB. Start time is 12:00 noon, but be there at least an hour before to gear up, etc.
If you guys want to travel Saturday and crash at my place, let me know and I'll make the necessary arrangements (kick the wife and kids out).
