Drafting course in PG ?

I'm scared of spending the winter in the bush again so I'm looking for a drafting course (CAD) in PG; but it's harder than I thought
Anybody with connection at UNBC or other education center to help me ?

Any help will be greatly appreciated !

UNBC does not offer drafting (except for GIS, but they did mention they wanted to introduce more engineering course), but CNC does. Now do they offer a shorter winter course, I am not sure, but here is a winter semester course in engineering drafting (jan to april):

yeah, their site is really not that user friendly. I am sure that they have more drafting courses then just the one I posted. Best to drop in and ask at the desk.

also, do you get EI as a student? That would be nice if you could get everything for free

I guess I can ask to be lay off, so I can collect EI. My other concern is my poor high school history...I'll try to convince them that a commercial pilot license is like a grade twelve ...

tell them how many grad 12 grads you were Sarg over were total idiots.

I think they are pretty good at looking past that if you are in the industry. There might be a refresher course to take.

Bahhhh, continuing ED is BS. You should be fine due to the long time space between highschool and now. That and all that industry experience. Maybe you will have to take a GED or SAT or whatever to demonstrate your current literacy level. If your posting here demonstrates anything of your literacy, you will be completely fine.

I had an appointment with a conceilor and I found out that it's not exactly what I'm looking for I need a Autocad course with engineering application.
But I keep this one in mind just in case.
Some crazy stuff in this college : astronomy, criminology... I'd love to be a student !!

Frag, you should totally go to school. also think of anything medical, ie: lab tech, nurse, doc, etc. or dental hygiene they all make killer $. there is also the trades, most of which make very good money as well.

All of these are offered here as well.
And the life of a student is great!

Ha ha ha, living on $50 a month for food and gas was not that great...

Still, to go back to school, with cash, and a mindset to enjoy the work will be well worth it.
