| So I do believe I will be playing a game this weekend and I'm not sure what I should wear for eye protection. I have my paintball mask, is that good? Last year when I played all everyone was wearing was safety glasses/shooting glasses and in all the pistol only games I played (alot) all everyone wore was safety glasses while I wore a set of old school of retro cutting glasses from work (the ones that look like early WWI pilot's goggles) wicked style! (sealed eyewear BTW)I'm just not too sure those are gonna be sufficient with club rules...and I'm sure the guns are gonna be firing more than 220fps which was about the average for our pistols that me and my buddies were using but FPS is only really an issue with me because I've never been shot in face by a BB travelling at over 300fps...hurt much? and I have rather large pretty teeth that I would like to keep...Can you loose a tooth from airsoft? I assume so...just not 100% sure. | |

| Wear your paintball mask if your scared of loosing teeth. Safetly glasses and anything that does not seal around the eye is not allowed... as well as goggles that are not ANSI approved. If you don't want to wear your mask, then take your goggles out. All of the guns you'll probably be seeing, with a few exceptions, will be firing anywhere from 280 fps to 500 fps(guess-a-mitt). Getting hit in the face isn't a picnic, it hurts and will look like a bad case of acne. Oh and I think I forgot, yah you can lose teeth. http://sequoiaairsoft.com/img/bbdamage2.jpg[edit]dang it Doug, blast you and your chairsofting ablities | |

There are also lots of neoprene masks that you can use too. Personally, everything fogs, so wear something that fogs the least. -Doug | |

| sports mouth gaurd and PB goggles. Takes away the fogging and keeps your teeth protected. I will be bringing an extra set of mesh goggles that you can try as well. | |

| My paintball mask does not fog at all. As long as you get a good mask they shouldent. Mine had a fan in it when I bought it and it pissed me off so I took it out. I was playing in Arizona so it was real arid and dry and the temp was only about 15C (indoors with the AC on full blast) so I wasent sweating. I neglected to put my fan back in upon arrival to PG and I found it still did'nt fog, just a real good design of the mask. Unfortunately they havent made this kind of a mask in about 3 years otherwise I'de recommend it to anyone looking for a full mask. | |
