I've been all over BC comparing prices from surplus store to surplus store, the Kelowna surplus has a fantastic stock of BDU's. For those searching for multicam, they have it.

Gah! Thay are about 40% more expensive than DSTactical and DST is expensive as it is! I would highly suggest that people stay away from their MC, not only is it not Propper, it is Hong Kong knock-off that you can get an entire set for $50 on ASC.

If you are looking for a provincial store, and do not like buying across the net, Daves Surplus Tactical is the way to go. If you do like shopping around, ASK has about 50% to 80% markup compared to most surplus stores out there.

-Doug

EDIT: Comparisons in price!

Propper ACU Army Combat Uniform Shirt
DST:$59.99
ASK:$99.99

Hong Kong US MultiCam Shirt (both companies are rip-offs):
DST:$74.99
ASK:$119.99

you get the idea...

Hey, no worries. If you have shopped around enough like most the geardo's here, any dollar saved in this sport = more gear. It is really tricky getting good deals, that is why we try to put on group orders or buy used from ASC. Shame that so many places in Canada have such a huge mark-up...

no kidding, our dollar is making me giddy.

Overseas orders are looking soooo tasty.

Maybe we should host another slew of group orders at some point.

High priced, but Albert is a good guy.

order before everyone re-prices their US$...its not so much that CAN$ is shooting up, but the US is dropping. Things that cost much Yen to make may increase in US$ cost. E-bay is suddenly looking very attractive.

Yeah, Canadian retailers are generally good people, I guess they just have troubles making ends meet.

Cough cough, again, anyone up for some more group orders? Guns, gear, etc? Ha ha ha.
