| Finally got access to a heated shop and did the painting. Did 2 layers of hard flat black lacquer for the under coat and a layer of Krylon Camo Ultra Flat Black for the finish. It turned out extremely nice, albeit, having no markings now. I might do a skull stencil or moose head stencil but not much more than that. It is also firing well again after the tappet fix, so I am happy. I don't know about the current furniture configuration but it looks mean for right now I might slap one of these on instead of the tri-rail if I get any money. -Doug | |

| Wow, nice paintjob there Daes, the bipod and M203 seem a little weird together but I guess we've seen weirder things from you before... (just gotta remember where that Space Gun RAS pic is...) Oh wait I found something better... But seriously looks good buddy

| Seriously though, I feel that is the goal of all of my guns. The more rails the better. You can't go wrong with RIS & RAS... The problem is that everyone is doing it so it really is starting to not look unique. I think that I am going to put the bipod back on the M16A2 and leave the M203 on the SR-X. The problem now is that I am stuck with an extra long 650mm tightbore... -Doug | |
