AS PER DISCUSSION THESE ARE NO LONGER THE RULES FOR EVENTS. THESE ARE BEING KEPT FOR HISTORICAL PURPOSES AND AS AN EXAMPLE OF THE DISCUSSION AND IDEAS BEHIND CREATING GUIDLINES FOR AN EVENT. EACH EVENT HOST IS NOW RESPONSIBLE FOR POSTING AND USING THEIR OWN RULES.

How do I join the club?
https://pgairsoft.forumotion.com/Frequently-Asked-Airsoft-Questions-f26/How-do-I-join-the-club-t585.htm

Playing Areas
-must be out of city limits if not on private land (owned land).
-if on private land please mark off playing area so players do not wander out of private land.
-public land is a no go in city limits (public land can either be crown or land where the owner is not asked for permission everytime)
-if someone from the public is struck they can charge with assualt.
-call police (561-3300) if you play on public land outside of city limits.

Eyewear

1-Anyone under the age of 18 must wear a full face mask or a mouth guard (and goggles). This is because of the liabilities of getting teeth knocked out and dental damage parents would not take well to. So 16, 17 year olds must wear masks.

2-Players 18+ must wear a sealed goggle or mask.
Here is a list of No No eye wear
-safety glasses
-shooting glasses
-progressive bi-focals
-contacts
-Mesh glasses
-eye lids
(I really hope you are getting the idea)

Acceptable eye wear (must have appropriate safety rating)
-Paintball Goggles
-Tactical Goggles
-Mesh airsoft goggles
-sealed welding goggles(with good rating)
-Sealed safety glasses(with good rating)
-any eye wear that seals around the eye(s) and can withstand a point blank shot from a stock AEG

Safe Zone
-Any gun to be allowed in the safe zone must have magazine out, cleared, safty on and barrel bag on. If one or more of these can be upheld the gun needs to be kept outside the safety zone.
-If there is no safe zone available goggles are on at times, only removed when everyone is guaranteed to have their barrel bags and safeties on.
- Sidearm’s must be holstered, safeties on and mag out to enter the safe zone. Your Sidearm may not be drawn in the safe area unless magazine is out and chamber empty.

Game Play Rules
- Call “out” even when in doubt.
- If someone calls you as hit you cannot argue you must take the hit
- Dead Don’t talk. ("out" Players are not to reveal information to “alive” players at all!)
- "Out" players are to raise kill rag (bright colored fabric) or hold up hands. Dead players must leave playing area so not to confuse who is still playing.
- No blind fire at all! (must be able to see where shots hit from behind your sights.) If you are caught doing this, you will be asked to sit out for the rest of that current game.
- Head shots are allowed but try to avoid them at all costs.(no headshots from guns that exceed 1.49 joule limit). Players that act irresponsibly (multiple headshots, horseplay etc) will be given a warning or asked to not use that gun for the rest of the day.
- 10ft Mercy rule-do not fire at someone who is less than 10ft away-say "MERCY" or something like it and player will either raise their hands in surrender or if they don't you may open fire.
- Keep swearing and rude talk to an appropriate level
- Gun Hits DO count If gun is hit you have to go to your sidearm or just throw BBs and snowballs.
- If you see any players not following any of the stated rules please let them know right away. if they fail to listen after being told 1 more time they will be asked you leave the field and game for the rest of the event-
- Cheaters will NOT be tolerated and will be asked to leave if they repeat an offense

Vehicles and Pyro

-no vehicles at private non club games
- CANNOT EXCEED 20kmh -NO EXCEPTIONS-walking speed
- Before backing up must honk three times
- Cars, vans, trucks etc are taken out with tennis balls (must be an in the air hit)
- When a tennis ball strikes a vehicle it stops where it is and cannot advance. It can either start to back up or stay in it's position
- Vehicles can be allowed to advance again after they return to a respawn
- Medivacs have red flagging tape on the antenna
- Cannot shoot from inside a medivac
- Can shoot from inside all other vehicles

Pyro/Fireworks
-must be cleared by game host
-cannot be fired any direction besides up

Special Rules (only used for some games)

One Hit Kill-MOST COMMON
Just like the title states, one hit anywhere on you or your gear your out
- Even if you think you might have gotten hit, call it

Multiple Hits-USED AT COUNTERSTRIKE AND NON REALISM GAMES
-This replaces real hits
-pieces of flagging tape are given (one for each hit) or do it by memory
-if you are hit anywhere on your body you remove a piece of flagging tape
-amour points can be added by simply putting on another piece of flagging tape

Bleed Out and Medics-USED ONLY WHEN DESIGNATED
- Bleed out-when dead by the rules of real hits you count up to 100, if no medic makes it to you in that time you are dead and walk off the field
- If hit in the head with no amour-there is no bleed out
- Bleed out time is 10mins, after that point you walk back to a respawn

Medics USED ONLY WHEN DESIGNATED
- Must touch shoulder (NO EXCEPTIONS) and count out loud to 30 uninterrupted, any interrupted count is restarted
- Other method is to tie flagging tape around the part being healed
- Each medic can bring you back to life once and heal each appendage once, after re spawn that count starts again
- Medics cannot heal themselves

Armor Rules USED ONLY WHEN DESIGNATED
- Armor only gives a bonus if the armor is hit. If you are wearing body armor but get hit through a crack or space, it does not function.
- Kevlar Armor +1 armor
- Steel Plate or Ceramic Plate +1 armor
- Additional layer of either +1 armor
- Max attainable armor is +3 armor for any body part. If you are hit, subtract one from your total. Realistically, most people will be lucky to have +2 armor and it will be very encumbering.

Grenade Rules-IN USE EVERY GAME
- Grenades (tennis balls) are thrown at the enemy
- If enemy does not notice it landing thrower yells "BANG", "BOOM" or something to help them notice where it landed.
- If the ball lands within 10 feet of a player without any hard cover that player is DEAD.

Booby Traps and Mines
- Personal alarms, rat trap claymores, etc
- Trip wire explosives/mines-the person who tripped it off is dead with no heal
- Claymores/BB shooters-if hit with a BB or BBs take the hit like it is from a gun.

bit of lunch break editing. Cleaned up FPS limits and rules for CQB and Open Play. Removed real hits and replaced with multiple hit rules. Post your thoughts.

PostSubject: Re: NOT IN USE-Northern Interior Airsoft Rules   NOT IN USE-Northern Interior Airsoft Rules EmptyMon 08 Jan 2007, 4:58 pm

changed some rules
-CQB-FPS rules lower to 350 with .2 max
-safety rules updated with barrel bags. Must have mag out, clear gun, safety on and barrel bag on to enter the safe zone. To take off Goggles in field all players must be on safe and have barrel bags on. If one person does not have a barrel bag in field they must remove mag, clear gun (while goggles on) safety on and keep the gun pointed at ground level

GUN HITS DO COUNT NOW. This will get us using our side arms more often and keep us sharp when it comes to leaving a gun hanging around a corner.

I am proposing that we drop the CQC FPS to 330 or lower. Get rid of full auto and semi and just say that there one limit and the fire selector options are game to game.

My thoughts are move it to 310 max with a bit of wiggle room as long as it stays under 310 for most shots.

Sure, you wait until you've upgraded half my guns above that before changing the rule. Smile

No offence, but I don't think you're going to feel much difference between 310-330, anything above 300 is going to hurt like a bastard in CQC. Even stock guns are going to leave nasty welts if you're not properly protected. I think we should go with the existing limits and just ensure that everyone wears proper eye/face protection and covers up bare skin.

Personally, I'm not going to pay to have my guns downgraded (Kraken excepted, 370 was a bit much), so I might as well just stay home if the limits are going to be reduced.

Yeah, just about all gas guns are going to be shooting around 330fps.

Going by the FPS table we made ages ago, Buddleys TM MK23 SOCOM NBB was shooting around ~350fps.

If gas guns are going to be shooting high, then AEG's on semi should be able to too. That said, if under 300, should let the stock AEG's go on full auto.

We are going to be decked out in gear hopefully. Civi/Terror will hopefully be wearing hoodies and shemaughs. I would highly recommend getting paintball masks for the CQB just because of the face and ear guards.

The Kraken you said was right around 330, the G36 was around 310. My stock M14 will likely be over 300, and my C15 is around 350 I believe. The G36 and M14 are a bit long for CQB so that rules out most of them. I guess I could go with the Uzi, but I'll likely end up breaking another trigger and I'm not going to buy any locap mags for it so I'd be running hicaps. I could also steal my wife's G36c. Smile I believe all my gas pistols are over 330, including the full auto G18's so if we're going to reduce the limit on AEG's we'll likely have to ban GBB's.

It's not really an issue for me, but some people only have a single weapon which they've already upgraded to what they believed were permissable limits for CQB acccording to our old limits. Changing those limits so that they can't even use their guns in semi would be very unfair.

If people are going to be wimps about it, then maybe they should buy proper protective gear or find a new hobby. tongue

ummm, I'm thinking that if you get hit in CQB you are usually hit about 30-40x b4 you can even spit out the words "hit" or "OW! Sh*t!!!"....

Short answer... no. Only plate carriers count as 1+. I find that I don't even use the extra hit. I just call it after the first one.

PostSubject: Re: NOT IN USE-Northern Interior Airsoft Rules   NOT IN USE-Northern Interior Airsoft Rules EmptyMon 14 Sep 2009, 9:12 am

For what its worth we have been using 'knock down rules' for armor down here.

Basically if hit in armor you are concussed and out of it for 1-2 minutes. if enemy closes on you before you are up, its a knife kill.

This gives reason for using as much armor as possible. We use plastic inserts for armor plates so there is a distinct heard and felt 'click' if hit in body armor or helmet.

Still working out whether player is out cold or can still talk and work radio. We DO allow a concussed player to take 5 steps to get to cover before down...otherwise he drops as far as he gets...so avoid open areas.

This is more realistic to actual armor use, and so far works pretty good game wise as it gives some real game bonus for the heat, restriction, and weight.

This was based on recommendations from infantry buddies. Still aint bang on, but definitely closer.
