Drache and I will be there...still talking to other club members regarding a carpool to try and get them up there.

Got a noob (KyleJ, local member) coming with, but he will need a gun rental. Hes got the other gear, but his AEG is too hot for CQC.

What AEG does he have?

I can cover him for a rental

Hes got a Kraken, but neither of us have gamed with him yet, so we'd prefer something that was actually under the fps cap for now,

Noob doesnt need the rental now...he bought a CA M15!

Well I'll be coming if there is a larger group guaranteed coming to this game. I dont feel like spending money to travel up there if this is only going to be a tiny game.

I agree with Drache...if we wanted to have a 6 person 4 hour game, we could do it locally. Hopefully more people sign up, or we are going to have to cancel.

Can I drop in and play a game? I'll need a rental and gear, I will just wear street clothes if it costs less, the goggles or a paintball mask is all that I will need, I think. If there is anything else please inform.

I would advise a full face mask for CQC, and a scarf of some kind to keep the BBs off your neck. I remember the first game I played, for the first hour or so, everybody seemed to be unable to hit me anywhere but the face or neck. Street clothes are fine, just means you would be on the "terrorist" team. Dave is generally the one to talk to about rentals, though I might have something spare kicking around that day.

its okay after the sca my pain tolerance has gone up alot after fighting for the past four months. How about a paintball mask and a hoodie? Also do I need gloves, steel toes or anything like that?

don't get discouraged by the numbers, there have been lots of players coming out that don't sign-up online.

I would highly recommend gloves. Even in outdoor field games getting a bb in the thumb or a finger can be painful. I've had a few blood blisters on my hands after games when I forgot to bring gloves.

Mechanics gloves are fine, right? They are the only things that I have that are clean at the moment.

I would recommend boxing or grappling gloves with at least 2 inches of padding, ha ha ha!

Even tactical and mechanic gloves will still hurt when shot in the hand, just part of the game I guess.

ok things have gotten a little complicated for me! I purchased a brand new CA M15 sportline and then sold it at a loss to a local player just so he could have something for CQC. I then purchased a TM MP5 (used) for myself.

Well to make a long story short the CA bit the big one after 30 minutes of use and I had an upset buyer on my hands. The guy I got it from wont be home until the 19th.

In my infinite wisdom I gave the guy half his money back (until things are sorted out by the supplier) and offered to pay his rental fee from dave (still have to work this out with dave).

But in the same wisdom I didnt keep a close eye on my finances. For 4 hours of play Im looking at at least $100+ (rental fee, game fee, gas gee, ammo fee, food fee, etc. If I dont juggle my bank account I might only be able to afford to pay the rental fee.

we will have to see.

DONE! That gun is an absolute dream! Do you want me to take a look at the CA? I'm feeling generous to get a gun working.

the CA is "under warranty" so the mopic says! He gets back from Vietnam on the 19th and told me not to touch it.
