YOU CANT SEE ME! Ghillie Suit question

Ive done the research and priced out a new one and have come to the conclusion, who has any side info on making one I know the basics, and have obtained three off olive drab green coveralls and the netting, but should I use some store bought jute or use cheese cloth/burlap died?

Go to Airsoft Canada and look it up. There is tons of information there. There are also many options on google. Sorry to resort to that, but that's as far as my ghillie suit project got to.

Alternately you can also use sythetic yarn from WalMart or wherever to break up the fabric and give it a little more of a moss look if you dont want to use jute (and have it a little more rot resistant).


Or, if you decide its just too much work, BuyAirsoft.com has a ghillie for $100, as well as theres a couple decent suppliers on eBay selling them for $75 with bag and rifle wrap.

Wayne at Company Quarter Master had a couple of ghillie suits but theres an odd note on his door and he hasn't been open lately.

i bought one from the army surplus, uses string, works amazing, extrealy hot, gogle fogging is unavoidable, but last time i used it i had people walking less than 10 feet away from me

S, I know its been a while but finally had the extra cash to pickup somethings for the ghillie suit, and a rifle wrap. Also some cans of the allmighty krylon camo paint. I think that Im gonna have work on the suit while on my trip up north this weekend with the other service tech driving. Lets just hope he isnt fazed from the smell of shoe goo....
