May 10 =NIA= Milsim

Its was a grand day for a game, the rain only came for a few minutes which was hardly worth mentioning. Everybody was tired after humping 10 or so clicks but still was fun nonetheless.

Big thanks to Kevin and Geoff for their hard work and planning on this one. I had an absolute blast the entire milsim. Some faster moments and some slower moments but fun the whole way along. Awards from the short lived turkey team should go to Yuurie for some of the best medic work I have ever seen...true bravery...ha ha. Also the Mike the bullet hose...man that M16 can sing.

Really liked meeting some new players and hope you to see everyone at future games.

ypu guys make it all the way to busters 1... wtf i got stuck half way there in tuesday

Yeah the pickups drove into busters1, the little cars stayed back and then we WALKED to busters2. LOL! For me the best part of the day was the Iranian siege on the Turks, time was running out b4 the US teams showed up we HAD to move in, Smith's Squad1 kept them pinned down in the bunker which gave my Squad2 a chance to move in, Horton's AUG was firing flawlessly, in a position 40 feet out I could see movement in the bunker through a 1" crack in the wall and was able to shoot about every 3rd or 4th shot through that crack until we Finally sieged the building. That was the most shooting I've ever done, those poor dudes in there must have been getting rained on in there, finally I got close enough to take out their door gunner then Horton shoots me (repeatedly) in the shins, and everybody else ran in make the final assault, just after making my closeup kill Gryph ran up with his M203 and detonated it into the bunker, a few seconds later it was over! The Iranians completed their mission and successfully sieged the city. I personally unloaded about 800 bb's in that firefight which was probably only a drop in the bucket as to what actually hailed on them inside. I'm sure everyone else has other views of what happened and will share their stories, but that was my personal highlight..

Oh! And I think there should be an honorable mention for commando of the day to Explosive Entry Tactic for assaulting the bunker with a springer! Scaling the wall and shooting down into the bunker from the roof! LMFAO!

Yeah that was a hard core game, I just wanna say congrats to Jason. We ruled that ridge man!

For sure! haha. By the end of this week all of the snow should be gone. Is anyone interested in a build day? The road would be driveable. I just wanted to throw that out there because having a tower or barracks or even just more outbuildings would be awesome. I will start collecting the odd pieces of 2x4 and whatever if anyone else is iterested.

Great game, glad I had the opportunity to make it out and play. Base defence on that scale was fun, it was great being the medic again and the squad based work on the ridge was superb. I think the rules keeping all squads together with no lone-wolfing definently makes for a much more interesting game. Thanks to our hosts for setting it up!
