my pics are mostly garbage but I`ll put them up later.
HUGE thanks to Nic and his lovely assistant. With the theory stuff out of the way now when Nic comes back we can run more scenarios with some better debriefing of why we always die. Being in the ``dry run`` gave me 4 definate things to work on to get better at CQC so I am excited even just for that.
I won`t put much here for now but love to hear some honest feedback on the night and Nic`s instructional time. What did you value and what did you think we could do without.
Favorite moment of the night was definatly
``shoot the little girl if she gets close to your partner...just maybe in the leg`` BA HAHAHHAHAHA

A note from the snow games dave lent me a set of snow camo and it worked rlly well. but dont rush out for a set cause the two from 100 mile brought those 7 dollar white painters suits with the hood from home hardware and they worked just about as well and for 7$ thats hard to beat.

Some extra thoughts.
We need more walls. We have an unbelievable space in there and the price really isn't that bad. What we need is more walls to fill it up and make it more usuable. We have just over 80 right now and we could easily get close to 200 and barely fill that space.
The theory that Nic did was great but did eat up a large part of the night. I would have loved to stop and work on a few of the things he was talking through like running the wall, switching shoulders and the communication calls. The forward standing position is going to change the way I play. Also putting my sling over the other shoulder....why did I never think of these things.
There was an unexpected turnout which was not a bad thing at all but did mean that things took longer so please note that we will get WAY more game time in with future games. That being said I would like to start CQC games with dry runs like Nick was running so that new players who missed the Nicness get a chance to know what we are doing.
For coming CQC games we will end earlier than we did there to make sure that we have a bulk of people to help clean-up and then everyone is on the same page.
There were a few things that I thought did not apply to airsoft as much such as the moving the weapon from safe to hot constantly but by no means was it not good to hear.
I feel like I have a much better idea of what I need to work on but this training did not give me as many answers as it did make me ask more questions...that is the sign of a really good time in my mind.
