Club rules, site rules, and legalities

This is really up to each area leader but do you guys want to keep using the NIA badges that exist or do you want to make your own that is area specific. Could be some incentive to go play other areas to earn your badge for their area.

Can you redo the badges and just take out the member, visitor thing and have NIA admin and NIA. Will make our lives a kittle easier for changing player tags. Like we said before then someone goes fro NEW PLAYER which is the default to then being known in their area and adjust having to change to the location tag.

I'll carry my weight a bit and if you finsih the tags in a sheet jpg like you did for the last batch i will separate them, save them induvidually and change them in the admin stuff.

Thanks Mikhail. I edited the above post to say "once"; I really haven't been around and had a rather convoluted system in place, it really would be a good idea to streamline the whole process. Unfortunately the goodforum system is rather frustrating to work with...

Seriously though, if you folks ever need any help, just ask, I owe NIA a bunch for so much fun I had back in the day. I have all the old graphics files archived, so yeah, doesn't take much to whip some more up.

I love the chairsoft and admin tags, If you can switch the text on the member one so to top line reads "NIA" and the larger bottom line reads the area and just get rid of member.

Also I think just one "new player/visitor" tag is needed and we'll make it the default that people get. Once they are established in an area their admin can change their tag to the Area tag.

Please make the new player/visitor tag something ridiculous...

actually on second look if you can switch NIA and the location on each one that would be great. We are just trying to get the location to be the discerning thing on these...PS

I spent quite a few years on the island. Mostly up-island Nanaimo, Qualicum, Parksville. Nice place. Met my wife there.

I think I prefer having the location the largest. The tags are obviously NIA, which should be first (titled, if you will) but the location can not be turned into a minor detail and go unnoticed.

The sizing as I did on the version I created, shows what I mean. Your versions are obviously working with the original art and are better. I do believe that if NIA is to be representative of many areas that each location should be a point of pride and thus be the dominant font size.

Mostly when you scan across you should see the location first. The player tags are ON the NIA site...no need for heavy NIA branding again.

I just messaged Doug to see if he'll finish the tags for us.

On another note we have run out of bages...convient timing if you ask me.

I am interested in getting more made wether it's the old design or a new one. People who are still around from when the old design was made are me and Wayne. I am OK with this newer group to do a new thing design wise just as much as I am OK to just print off a wack of the old design.

I still use bagdes to give returning players a discount on occasion and still like the idea of badges for PG at least but that is really up to the local players here.

I am interested to hear what the other area game hosts would like to do.
