Currently my Kraken is shooting under the CQB velocity limit. I'm interested in ordering a spring to speed her up for playing outdoors, with some heavy BBs'.

From what I've gathered using TSE, the number on the spring is an approximation of the velocity (in meters/second) that it would shoot -:approximately:-

Am I wrong?

Pretty much, for Modify it's usually about 10% more though. A Modify s110+ should put you around 390fps or more. Shouldn't be over 400 fps.

Ok, going by the (not in use) rules I can be shooting full auto at 350FPS with .25's. Which works out to 1.42 Joules.

So I'm thinking something a little less powerful than the s110+?

The S110+ should put you just under our "field limit." 396fps with 0.20 The rest will depend on the BBs you use and the compression of your gun. I've seen ppl get 370-410 or so with that spring.

The s110+ is the one that Phat_Chocobo is using in his G36 and it's shooting right around 390fps with 0.20

The s100+ should put you at 360 fps, also with 0.20

I'd grab the s110+ personally, 358fps is the max at 1.49J for .25g bbs.

uhh, I think I have a spring I pulled out of that kraken you're welcome to have. Might boost your FPS a little if you haven't bought something already
