So I was watching some TV and on one of those pickers shows this guy found a ballistic mask. I never actually realized that there were ballistic masks, I figured it was just a low level mask that couldn't take a real hit but they are rated fairly high. I truly believed they were a video game fantasy idea. When they showed it I realized something else. I OWN A REPLICA BALLISTIC MASK! This means that I can take a hit in the face and keep on playing!
I wanted to start a thread to showcase some of the masks so we know what is and what isn't a ballistic mask.

I see no other versions for sale which should help us narrow down what take take a free hit.
This does raise the question as to if we are OK to allow the video game versions as a free hit. I am OK with it but love to hear others thoughts.
I should add that wearing a mask like the one above does inhibit movement and field of vision which is the same as wearing a vest that can take a hit. You sacrifice movement for a free hit.
