more mesh masks!

so I was lookin to hop on the band wagon and I'm trying to figure out the biggest diff between the two now offered from ebaybanned:

from what I can tell, the more expensive one covers your ears?

And has the top strap that holds it UP.

I would be interested to see if it has the same front face coverage as the other one (the one I have)

actually I just read a review, it does cover the ears, I just don't know how low it goes... Tempting to order one still

I bet its more tempting, if you were at a game where someone had a tooth split ... like the game I just was at.

Everyone is hoping its just a cosmetic repair, and not too costly. Time will tell.

Regardless, a lot of needless pain and cost that a mesh facemask could have prevented.

Are the mesh masks any good? I was thinking of buying one.

I use the v1 mesh since i bought it before the 2nd version came out. I find it an absolute must to use some form of dental protection and these work awesome.

The 1st editions need some modification otherwise they fit like crap. They need an addition strap to go across the top of the head, just like the 2nd editions have from the get go.

How do neoprene masks compare to the mesh? I would think they would be a lot sweatier and generally gross.
