Club update 2012

The club has a total of 570$ right now give or take a few (not counting the nickles and pennies).So I think the next game may be on a Saturday if we can get one and that before we play we should have a build day. It would be cool to have more half walls and walls with windows. So I have a few questions.
1.Is this a good idea or should the money just be saved?
2.How much should be spent?
3.Are people willing to come out and help/bring tools?

SPEND SPEND SPEND. As long as there is around $300 left as a just incase to cover our butts for low attendance. Heck even $150 as the numbers have been really good this year.

Each wall comes out to around $10, so that should get us around 25 walls. I would be willing to donate to get us a few more as well.

Our indoor season is our busy season so let's sink some money into it to make our CQC the best there is. We have TONNES of square footage and this will just make it easier to have more players.

I have a skill saw, jigsaw and a few drills with bits at your disposal.

Another Idea is people just show up at 7:30 on a friday night instead of needing another entire day as I assume the payment to the rollerdome would be bigger than the regular 150$ for an afternoon or night.

I'm fine with a Saturday! It would mean I could be there for the whole thing!!!

I could probably help, I have a drill and some bits. Not sure if there would be anything else I would be able to snag.

OH!!! By the way... Could we possibly order some more NIA patches? I would really like to become an "official" patch carrying member of the NIA.

Getting patches is more than just ordering some up, so I think we should buy the walls soon with the money we have now and then at the end of CQC season buy the patches after hopefully accumulating more money that said its not up to me

First saturday opening is the 18th of february starting at 5pm would cost 250$+150$ reserve would leave around 180$ish to spend on walls does this sound good? plus whatever money we gain from the next couple games. I told AL we could get back to him on that this week so imput from club members would be appreciated.

Is that reserve a part of the $250?

no if we start earlier to do the walls its an extra 100$ but that also gives us an extra almost 4 hours from when we normally start in total we need to save 400$ if we want to keep a reserve 150$ keep in mind the game will probably cover most of that cost

so all in all that only gives 18 extra walls, meaning we spend almost 30% of our extra funds just for the space to build.

1. we have a month to get more money and we have been already gone up almost 200$ and 100$extra out of 600(im rounding here). plus that gives us a big night for gaming which could be awsome. if everyone pays 15$ that day we only need 17 people to cover the rental of the rolladome. The way im looking at it is 600$base-the 150 we need for reserve -250 for rental leaves us with 200$+any extra money accumulated and + that nights game fee which would leave us with around 450$ im willing to pitch an extra 5$ a game for more walls and Im pretty sure others are too and these big turnouts are also adding alot to the club fund.

How much extra money do you think there is? I doubt there is even enough for badges right now

I agree! I have a shopvac the club can have. It's kinda old, but for BBs it would work fine
