M4 Barrel Wobble

Hey Daes, when are you back from Christmas break?? Apparently my buddy has a huge wobble in his barrel, it's significant enough that he has stopped playing with it?? Any ideas?? He's back on the 15th, if you can even just tell me things to look for I'll try and get it done so we can shoot each other.

Yeah, very easy to fix. Remove furniture, remove delta ring, tighten barrel ring. This means no screws, no taking things apart drastically. Very easy fix!

I will be back on the 30th or so for a few hours, then I am up to Dawson Creek. If you want, just drop by the week and I will show you on my M16 what to do....

Daes, k so I went to my buddies house today to fix that "barrel wobble" and well it still aint fixed, any more tips?? I tightened the barrel thing and it still was loose, the part where the outer barrel touches the plastic body isn't flush, so any help would be great, if you need some pictures or something to help I can take em... There is a space between the ring and the barrel? Just do what I did for the CQB M16, use a rubber spacer, or you can wrap the loose parts in tons of plumbing teflon tape or any tape for that matter.

If you can, snap a picture and circle/describe exactly where the wobble is. Is it in the barrel well, or between the ring?

I will be back on the 29th I think, I will be in town for maybe an hour or so but I can drop by or catch up and hopefully solve this wobble issue...

It's in the barrel well, its twists the plastic body pretty darn good, but I'm going to try the tape idea first, but let me know what time your going to be in town, I have his gun until he leaves so give me a shout.

Well I sorta fixed it, sorry my buddy took his gun home and he said that he really didn't care about....??? whatever, but its his gun so whatever.

Talk to terry at Kelowna airsoft he has a R.I.S. unit that takes out the barrel wobble 100% yes it costs about 250 bucks but it so worth I have fixed 6 m4's with the same problem and this unit is the best bang for your buck

Yah, it's alright. My M733 doesn't have any, and my buddy doesn't ahve the cash to drop on a RIS. Thanks Though
