| Seriously badass! Good opportunity to do some pistols only games too.
As for the big rooms, do you think that speedball doritos derived from paintball would work as good cover in there?

| Question is it drywall? If so this could be a seriously bad idea because we will leave little round dents on the walls if not acual holes, trust me I did that to my room when I shoot through a cardbord box with my first aeg. used to catch the bb's from the springer but the aeg went right through and dented the cheprock. | |

| I love the idea of some cqb indoors, but again, my only issue is scheduling. My attendance at the conquer milsim was a bit of a fluke. If we could use the rollerdome on Sundays, my odds of actually showing up improve... | |

| What day works best for most? Saturday or Sunday? It was something besides drywall in there. The idea would be that we start building superlight/freestanding/cheap/not shoot throughable walls that we just stack up when we are done. Modular wall system so that we never get bored of the place. I need some ideas of what theses will look like as well. Chinese we already have our CQB FPS limits in the rules but good call. If we play higher FPS we'll all look like the beverly hillbilies https://pgairsoft.forumotion.com/nia-prince-george-briefing-f4/northern-interior-airsoft-rules-t142.htm | |

Yeah, back when we tested the area we found there will be a little bit of damage. If people can keep the FPS near stock and the gas guns down low it will be minimal. My only worries is that the person may turn face on us it we do shoot the place up and demand a repair bill for the little tiny dents. Highly unlikely and if we are very clear that there will be some, I am sure that there will not be an issue. -Doug

| I am thinking of renting it for two months ($400). There would be games every sunday for those two months. We choose the two coldest/snowiest months which will give us time to set-up some walls and get some of the funds together.
I am thinking of January-Feb. I am gone for most of January but I am sure someone else will step-up to play.
For finances we can charge $10 door fees for each sunday or you can buy passes in advance for $7 or something like that. This would be an attempt at getting people to sign-up in advance for games.

| I think that pallet walls will be to much to set-up and take down in there. We need an easier system for walls.
If we have 6' tall 6' wide wooden frames that have tarp, cloth or something else light stapled onto them. We have a place we can stack them but they can't be to big. They also need to be free standing so I am thinking of a 2" secions that swivel out so they can be freestanging but stack well.

| Just checking the club bank account we almost have enough for the first months rent.
I am gone most of January so how does Feb-March sound?
Another idea for walls is to hang tarps or sheets over frames.

Another idea for walls is to hang tarps or sheets over frames. Not sure it already posted but 1x1 wood frames, get cheap solid foam insulation foam blocks, get cheap broad clothe, glue over, solid wall that is BB resistant but very light and easy to transport. That or just 1x1 frames with clothe. -Doug

If you decide to go this route, I strongly advice gluing the clothe to the foam. The heavier the clothe the better. I've been using the cheap foam as targets for years, but it doesnt stand up to BBs worth a squat without something to minimize the direct damage from the BB. Elsewise, you're looking at BBs going right through a single layer of the 1-1/2" stock (I use three lashed together for an airsoft target now to ensure no BBs make it all the way through...and there are BBs lodged up through to the third layer.)
Looking forward to joining you guys for some CQB!

-Doug Yep, I did state to get cheap broad clothe and glue over, works okay, and provides the effect and semi-feel of a solid wall. Much better than just straight up clothe and much lighter than plywood. -Doug

| went to a hardware store and got these #'s
1 1/4"pvc x 12'=8.99 1"x2"x8' board=1.15
clearly the 1x2 are super cheap and if we make the walls 6' tall we will have 6x8 walls and can make braces for walls with the 2' off cuts.

| Yep, wood is the way to go, any prices on foam filler/insulation blocks? Broad cloth can be got fro around $1.50-2.00 a meter, so just need to get a ton of spray glue and we are good to go. I will gladly donate some time and/or money towards this venture. Mind you, where in the heck are we going to store and transport this setup?

| we can store the structures there for the two months we pay rent. But after that they need a new home. If they come apart easily (connected with dowling not nails) than you could cram them all in a car as pieces and I can put them in my place. We can set them up in teh summer if someone has a back yard they want to use as well.
How wide is a meter of fabric?

| Depends, I have seen anywhere from 36 to 48 inches as standard, but who knows, we might be able to get a good deal at a sale or something. Lets aim for the cheapest and work from there.
Are you gamed for a build/gun day at some point? Get everyone together and crank some test ones out?

| Spork, great idea!!!! PG has TONS of dryers felt from the Pulp Mill. It is about 1/4 inch thick heavy plastic fibre (think felt on steroids). This stuff is stab proof and is next to indestructible. It is also insanely wide and long, getting sizing for what ever purpose is great. I use this stuff for all sorts of stuff back home, stronger then heavy leather for armor straps, great stuff. I will bring some trough PG and show how great it is, or someone can just go down to the mills and ask and I am sure someone would be happy to show some.

If we want to do this we need a bigger place than mine to work in too. Does anyone have anything close to a shop or garage that they wouldn't mind storing and what not. We just did some renos and now it seems like we have even less room.
