| Alright folks inside we go. I am looking at booking the indoor airsoft for pre-christmas. I would like to do Saturdays again and stay in there unitl the end of March...when the snow is mostly gone around town. I am looking at mid to late November then early to mid December. Please post up what Saturdays work or don't work for you.
Out of towners I will try and do my best to give you guys a chance so put your dates down as well.
Is there someone that can run some January fun when I am on the road?
The other question is should be rethink our indoor FPS limits?

| Any days work for me, as long as they end about 5ish since I work at 6ish. And even then i shouldn't have a problem getting a day off here and there Our current indoor fps limits seem good to me, i wouldn't be against them being higher either. But i'm crazy like that. Pain is only temporary... Speaking of which i'm going to swap in a spring for my gun. 340 fps with 0.25g BBs is a bit much for CQC, gonna drop in a Modify S90 spring, hopefully that'll bring me down enough. | |

| Another thought was walls,
we have around 50-60, I can't remeber how many exactally. I would love to buy more but there is no more room to store them at my place. They don't take up lots of room but they do need to be under some cover so they don't rot. We can't buy more until someone else offers a spot to store them.

| Pretty hard to plan around my schedule. If you pick some days I'll try to make it down whenever I can. I don't think our problem was with the existing fps limits but rather with the number of bb's you're getting hit with before you even have a chance to call out hit. When everybody was running Kraken AK's with full auto and mid or hicaps you couldn't even stick your pinky out from cover without getting sprayed. For CQB I'd suggest going to realcaps or locaps or at the very most partially loaded midcaps to try to discourage people from hosing down anything that moves. In the game I made it down for I noticed an extreme difference when we had all the AK's on one team. The skill level of the players didn't make any difference at all, just the ability to hose down the opposition for an extended period. When I fell down in an exposed spot I must have had about 20 or 30 bb's bounce off the top of my helmet before people stopped shooting at me. I was afraid to open my mouth to call hit in case I took a couple bb's in the teeth. | |

| That is a great point Wayne, what about x2 real cap? If you don't want to go against my Kraken army then just rent them all...hahaha | |

| +1 I totally agree with Wayne. In such close quarters High Caps should be Semi Only, regardless of the guns FPS.
I have mixed feelings about Mid Caps/x2 Real Caps. I personally wouldn't mind them on full auto, but for the interest of a middle ground how about a mag limit? For example, the most one could carry is probably 5 Mags +1 in the gun. If you got mid caps maybe limit that to 2 mags +1 in the gun. Same amount of ammo technically. Although the mid caps would still have a longer go between mag changes. This is assuming Mid Caps hold about twice as much ammo as a real/low cap.

| we had the rule last year that highcaps were on semi only and I would like to totally get rid of them (except box mags) but it's all some people have so staying with semi only is as fair as we get I guess.
We could say loading 60 and under is full auto, mid caps stay semi (as they can hold over 100 BBs sometimes). With CQC there really aren't to many mag changes if I remember right. You could run 3-5 games on 5 mags. Mind you I die quite a bit faster than your average bear but still.

| ~100 round midcaps could also count as a single drum mag since real ak drum mags can hold 75 or 100 rounds. I'd limit one fake drum mag per ak user though, the rest can be loaded 30-50 rounds. Real ak mags can hold 30, 40, and 50 if i remember correctly, depending on the mag.
I'm personally looking to buy some MAG midcaps 100rnds each. Couldn't find any real caps that weren't $40, ouch. I'll load them accordingly, of course.

| With drum mags we ask that they be big and cumberson like a real drum mag. Otherwise you have guys running full auto with tiny guns. Drum mags are heavy, give a bigger profile and aren't always as great as they seem.
Devil have you done any CQC stuff? I am hoping that from your past experiences we could get some more ideas.

First off there are costom mags made for just about any firearm out there. I'm manly thinking of the 45 rounder made for armalites by welding two mag shells together. If you have midcaps just load them to the 2X real capacity rules. I usually do that any ways even when playing out doors. (they always seem to feed better that way and I hate high caps) Also the only limit on the number of mags should be what people want to carry. If you want to load your self down so you can't move go for it. The whole point of the capacity limits is to get people doing mag changes, this causes a breif moment when you don't have any rouns in your gun just like the real thing.

| Sounds reasonable. I don't need to rent your AK's I have two of my own. I just have to bring them next time instead of my uzi and shotty. - Hortons Heros wrote:

| double fisting the AK's...I see that double fist and will duct tape a gun to my head...operated by a string to my left eyelid...this could get tricky. | |

| If this doesn't work out it would suck but there are some other gyms I can call. If someone else finds a place for around $100 a day please let me know. I can't be the only one looking, my connections are getting few.
I've thought about the rollerdome, not the upstairs like we have done but the floorhockey arena. It's surrounded by plexi, large area, heated and even has a consession! No idea about prices though.

| Has anyone looked into the building at the end of the train bridge? I'm not sure who exactly owns it, but I was walking down my Cottonwood and noticed that it was abandoned... might be worth trying to follow up. | |

| Do you drive by there often? If you go by there again look around the building for some signage. There is usually some kind of contact number. | |
